   My husband & I found this lovely BnB to be so quiet, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with everything of a high quality for a comfortable stay. Lisa herself, was extremely welcoming, and went the extra mile in making our stay perfect.We can't recommend her highly enough. Top marks all round!!

   Paid NZ$ 147.61 for 1 night stay in Nov 2023 in Lisa's B & B after 18% discount from credit card. Booked through Agoda. 1. Stayed in a separate room from the main house. It was a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. 2. The room was clean, neat, tidy and very spacious. The bed was comfortable. 3. The air-con was powerful and cold. 4. The attached toilet and bathroom was clean and spacious too. The water pressure and drainage was good. They provided bath and face towels. 5. The wifi was stable. 6. Lisa was very polite and friendly. She is a great host. 7. They provided simple breakfast such as bread, cereal, yoghurt, jam, etc. 8. Car can be parked at the front porch area. 9. There are some eateries about 2-3 minutes’ drive away.

   First time I've used a BnB, and it was great. Hidden Gem is quiet, secure and close the hockey turf, island park (which I highly recommend). The location is great, not to far, not to close to everything in the region. Our room was perfect for our 3 night stay, the shower was lovely with an overhead rainshower head. Warm and comfortable. No parking problems unlike alot of motels. Best of all Hidden Gem is pet friendly and with island park down the road, all k9 owners should check it out. Thank you Lisa and whanau, I'm now a true BnB convert.

   Fantastic. I was a tour bus driver and have stayed in many different types of accommodation, this was outstanding. This accommodation was both functional, very clean neat and tidy, with great facilities, very modern. It had everything we needed. We had the perfect host, warm, friendly, welcoming and very easy to deal with. They have paid a lot attention to customer needs. This was the best experience I have ever had, and would highly recommend, we will be back.

   Lisa is an amazing considerate host. From our late arrival to our departure she made us feel right at home. Her accomodation is really clean and so cosy with little touches that ment alot. Beds were comfortable and the shower is great.
