   An amazing place for family to all stay together. So many activities for all ages. A wonderful spot to have a gathering with your nearest and dearest. Pen was super lovely to communicate with. Very accommodating, the place was nice and clean. Would happily stay again!

   Lawn Road Retreat is the perfect inter -generational place to stay. The manicured property is kitted out with activities for every age group to enjoy together or independently. We celebrated a 70th birthday with family ages from 3 through to 78 years. Everything from the feeding the chickens to playing croquet - which was a favourite - darts, pool, tennis, table tennis, cornhole, football was enjoyed. Pen was very helpful and communicative. We arranged a catered meal for one dinner But rest of time we self catered. Plenty of fridge space and cooking options. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and configured to accommodate families and individuals. We absolutely loved the three day stay and created such beautiful memories and town of laughs.    “The perfect spot for groups and families!” We first stayed at Lawn Road Retreat for the Colgate Games with four other families and couldn’t believe how spacious it was — even with so many of us, it never felt cramped! The house is beautifully designed, with every comfort you could want, and there’s something for everyone — tennis, croquet, tramp, pool, spa, playground and more. I really appreciated the little luxuries like the thermomix, air fryer and coffee machine! We’ve since been back to celebrate a family birthday and can’t wait to return again.    Our return visit to Lawn Road was just as good as the first. Our grandchildren were so looking forward to going again and they weren’t disappointed. There was even more play equipment than their first visit. They loved the hot tub, pool table, outside table tennis, badminton and as they were not hanging around the adults telling us they were bored we all had a great time. There are plenty of nooks to find if you needed time out. Would thoroughly recommend Lawn Road and the kids are already counting down to who might have the next significant birthdays so we can do it all again.

   We had a fabulous time at Lawn Road, the kids (all five of them) loved the pool deck and spa. They fed the chickens every morning and one of them even caught an egg as the chicken laid it - much to their delight. The house was beautiful, so well laid out and presented and it was so good for all nine of us to be able to spread out but still be close. We didn’t really leave except to pop out for extra supplies. The pizza oven was a hit and we pretty much lived in the outdoor space the whole time, even though it was mid-April. We'd definitely come again, Pen and her family were fantastic hosts.

   We had a wonderful weekend away to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends. Loads of space and the perfect amount of rooms. Fun games to play, tennis court and table tennis. All set in a quiet country area. It was easy to get to places we wanted to go. Close to the bikeways. Pen was there to greet us and show us around and was an excellent hostess. I would highly recommend staying at the Lawn Road Retreat. All our friends loved our time there.

   We've stayed at Lawn Road twice now, once as an extended family group and recently as a group of 4 families. It's an amazing place to stay. So much space, plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for all ages, beautifully appointed. The pool table was very popular when the weather turned rainy. Lots of tennis, rugby and soccer on the large lawn kept everyone busy and happy. Pen is a fabulous host. Can't wait to go back.
