“We found this hidden gem completely by chance, looking for a quick lunch in the city being just arrived in Hamilton as tourists. Turned out to be the perfect choice! The food was amazing, we tried almost everything they offered and as I was ordering a dessert, my husband took another portion of lamb with taro leaves. The price is really too good for the quality of the food, we paid 20$ a box with 5 different dishes and it was pretty enough to feed two people. If we could give it 6 stars, we would!”

“THE BEST HANDS DOWN. FRESH. HOT. SO GOOD. Spicy fish ball soup,I RECOMMEND the yummiest prawn shima and hargow dumplings. cooked to perfection, not greasy or soggy. Nana and Nancy were so lovely. Asking if we loved the food and suggesting lots. Small and intimate, not very big, with no restrooms. A definition of authentic Cantonese dumplings. I felt like I was back in Hong Kong.”

“We meet up here with friends from school days and early working life a few times a year. It's always a pleasure as the staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food is lovely. There is some outdoor seating and lots of inside seating. You can order off the menu or have cabinet food, or have just a coffee/drink if that's what you're wanting. I lived in Te Aroha West for about 8 years till I was 9, and remember the old shops etc so it's a trip down memory lane for me. Some pics of various meals attached.”
