    Was visiting Hams and having lunch with my son, who recommended it because he's been there with his university law class. Lunchtime on a Sunday, (28/9/25) it's quiet, but the staff were quick, friendly and accommodating. Fantastic customer service. We had a beef bacon burger and open steak sandwich. Both were really enjoyable, great flavour in the beef pattie (little too much mustard) but hell yeah! Loved it! And I can imagine the atmosphere on a busy night , with those staff. Thank you! Will definitely be back!

    Ordered Breakfast menu : Compliment to the Chef /Cook who did our breakfast delicious seriously .The bar guy was so nice when taking our order , made us feel welcome with the tone to his voice.If you are Looking for early morning, hearty delicious ,kiwi breakfast for two with great coffee .Here is a great place to try on your next foodie spots here in the beautiful Waikato .Barista is on point ,honestly park up on the main street first then walk around to try their smooth coffee yum caffeine creamy love it . So coming back again it’s my 2nd time here now I came first to celebrate a birthday up stairs and that was a great experience too . Blessed!

    Had a great time this evening. Nice cosy atmosphere, friendly bar staff (Campbell, Sean, Jenny) who were happy to help us out with taste tests for some of the local beers, delicious chips and desserts, and overall just a great vibe. Came here a week or so back for a quiz night and it was also a good vibe.

    Four of us attended a business lunch here. Overall, it's pretty good, a really friendly, engaging, and obliging staff member. One issue, not a complaint. One of our party is on a crash diet and asked about salad options with his meal. It's not available as an option, but staff managed to put something together. Big ups team, you did well. We'll be back.

    Atmosphere: 5 stars Service: 4 stars Taste: 3 stars Price: 1 star Ordered fish and chips this evening, which cost $25. Came with small fresh salad. The plate was filled with chips and very small piece of fish. See the contrast with the glass beside. The fish is even shorter and smaller than a banana. Over price. Feeling ripped off.
