Was not nice at all .ask for chips to be well done instead got half cooked. Soggy spring roll well over done hot dogs. Not going back
We ate here about 8 weeks ago, in our holidays. The food (fish) was very delicious, and the portions very large. The owners were very friendly. I would go there again, but it's a bit far away ;-)
Good sized menu. Average pricing. Quantity and quality of food is good. Staff are friendly. Cooking time is quick. Plenty of indoor seating. The tempura batter on the fish wasn’t as crispy or seasoned as other places.
Fresh, tasty fish n chips, oyster burgers delicious MUST TRY quite pricey but worth it. Owners lovely. Place could with an upgrade...
We were driving to Auckland and intentionally stopped over in Huntly because of word of South Cross Fisheries. I must say, the food exceeded expectations. We ordered a gatsby burger, a South African style burger. The steak within being juicy and tender. I would most certainly drive out to Huntly to satisfy any future cravings.
Great value for money. Lovely meal of Snapper and salad for me and steak, salad and chips for the fella. Both generous sizing, and beautifully cooked. Ate in, as the place was empty. Basic and well used decor but that aside, a really nice experience.
