Whevever I am in town to see family I do stop here for a coffee, really good. This week in town to celebrate Christmas with family, really wanted to go out for dinner, thrilled that Ironique had a Christmas dinner. We were the only ones booked in for the evening meal (he did have a couple of walkins). Several options for dinner, we all chose Stuffed Roast Turkey which was fabulous. Roasted fresh vegetables. Food presentation was great, loads of flavours. Dessert Pavlova, perfect size. Great way to finish the meal. Thanks Boomi for having us, very attentive, proud of his food and worthy of it. Merry Christmas.

We meet up here with friends from school days and early working life a few times a year. It's always a pleasure as the staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food is lovely. There is some outdoor seating and lots of inside seating. You can order off the menu or have cabinet food, or have just a coffee/drink if that's what you're wanting. I lived in Te Aroha West for about 8 years till I was 9, and remember the old shops etc so it's a trip down memory lane for me. Some pics of various meals attached.

Just visited Ironique Cafe a few days ago and we were both very happy with our breakfast. The staff were friendly and offered alternative options to suit our needs. The mini sized big breakfast was cooked perfectly and was absolutely scrumptious! I also had a feijoa juice to accompany my meal. The staff offered to cook oats for us as I really wanted a lighter breakfast. However, we were delighted to be given alternatives to the standard menu and the mini big breakfast was very tasty without being too heavy and not greasy at all. The melting moment biscuits which I took home were the best ones that I have had in a long time. My husband greatly enjoyed his one too. There was a wide range of cabinet food to choose from and it was difficult to make a decision as they all looked fresh and yummy. Ironique Cafe Is centrally located on the main street and across the road from the thermal pools. There is parking space on the street outside. I would be happy to recommend and hope to return again when visiting Te Aroha in the future.

Don't waste your money here, especially on the food. I ordered the "seafood basket" which was just a bunch of cheap, frozen items deep-fried. The salad was even worse – when we looked underneath, it was all full of yellow and rotten leaves. Forgot to take a picture for salad. When we complained, the staff just said "that's how it is". A total rip-off for NZD $30. Save your cash and go somewhere else.

Doubt we will return, people waiting over an hour for cabinet food, when we asked how much longer, was told she didnt work in the kitchen, rude,. Cafe full but took orders without warning there would be over an hour wait. Food finally was ok, coffee half cold.

I would give five stars for food flavour. However, we ordered two side salads and fries to share. Got one side salad and asked the server for the second. She seemed surprised and said oh, did you order two? She Left the table and no one ever came back.

The fish and chips was very nice and the chips crunchy as I like it. However staff was ok and appeared they had had an argument prior amongst themselves. It was showing with door slamming and body language. Not too becoming of a good establishment. Sam

Cozy and charming cafe located in the Main Street. Visited this Saturday on the Easter Holiday and was nice and easy to order. We had ice cream and my kids loved. My chocolate one was delicious and well served. My wife ordered milkshake and enjoyed heaps. Lots of seating inside and some outside. Friendly and well trained staff.
