The main transport hub for the cities public transport is handy. Just across the road. Open till midnight. Disability parking spaces are available.”

“I recently visited Woolworths St James in Rototuna, Hamilton, NZ, during the evening, and I was really impressed with the quality of the chilled and meat sections. I had a specific list of items I was looking for, and I ended up spending quite a bit of time in these areas, and I’m glad I did! The chilled section was exceptionally well-organized and stocked with a wide variety of fresh products. From dairy items like milk, cheese, and yogurt to fresh deli products, everything was easy to find, and the shelves were neatly arranged. I was particularly impressed by how well-maintained the section was, with everything from fresh salads to frozen meals displayed with great care. The staff was visible in this area, arranging items and making sure everything was in its proper place, but what stood out most was how friendly and helpful they were. Even though they were busy restocking and organizing, they still took the time to greet me and offered to assist when I had questions. Moving on to the meat section, I was equally impressed. The variety of cuts and types of meat was excellent, from premium steaks to sausages and fresh poultry. The staff in this section were very knowledgeable and approachable, offering me guidance on some of the best options for the meal I was planning. They were genuinely welcoming and made me feel comfortable asking questions, even as they were actively arranging the fresh meat on the shelves. Overall, my visit to Woolworths St James was a pleasant experience. The friendly staff in both the chilled and meat sections made the evening shopping feel personal and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back for both the quality of products and the excellent customer service.”

“We were exploring Huntly area and was craving fish and chips for lunch. After looking up, JJ's came up. Since it was close by, we decided to give it a go. We ordered Fish & Chips Special No. 1 ($7). The deal comes with 1 fish, 1 sausage and $1.50 chips. The food was perfectly seasoned and fired. I believe they change their oil regularly. “Went in for dinner last night with a big group of 30+ people. Coming from a hospitality background myself, I knew it would be a challenge for the staff, but they handled it really well. The fire alarm went off twice during our visit, so we had to evacuate each time — obviously annoying for everyone, but totally out of the staff’s control. They followed protocol and managed the situation calmly and professionally, especially considering many of the team looked quite young. Big credit to them. Surprisingly, they even gave us a 10% discount, which they didn’t have to do since the issue wasn’t their fault. It was a nice gesture and appreciated by the whole group. The food has definitely improved since I was last here a couple of years ago, which was great to see. Service was spot on too — friendly, attentive, and efficient. All in all, a good experience given the circumstances. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this one was well deserved. Will definitely be back.”

“Went Lux Cinema OMG amazing experience. Such an extravagant way to experience going to see a movie. Saw Avatar 3D. We sat in big lazy boy sitting that vibrated with sound, Adult drinks available. Ordered hot food before the movie that was bought in half way through the movie very yummy. Got a complimentary soft drink and popcorn. What you pay is definitely worth every cent. Won't go back to the cheap seats.”
