   Recliner seats great service great, movie the shizz!! Free popcorn and pepsi surprise! Drinks watery no flavour, nachos, cold and cheese tasted off, sliders cold chips not bad. For the price of the food absolutely gross! Iced Water was probably the only thing that tasted great cause it had ice and it was free. No aircon so it got pretty stuffy. For the price and experience. NOT WORTH IT!!!! Spent $300 for the whole experience. Yah wont be doing that again!! Ill spend $50 at the budget movie session any day. Lux it is not!

   The temperature in the theatre was so unbearable. No aircon, what was that all about. The outside temperature was 28 degrees, thought the movies would be a nice cool reprieve, man was I wrong. Ice cream started to melt before the wrapper was even off! Very disappointed, cost a fortune to roast.

   I think the cost premium to got to lux is absolutely worth it, I'm not sure why they have started to put complimentary popcorn and Pepsi max at your seat... Lately it's been cold and flat which is a dissaponting start. Please change back.

   My family and I come to Hoyts Te Awa often, but my experience during the 9:40pm screening of The Conjuring was really disappointing. The medium size refill was out of stock so I was told to take a large, but when my card was scanned it didn’t register the refill. Instead of fixing the issue, the staff (in a management role) pressured me into using my points. I was also told I was “lucky” to arrive 5 minutes before close, which felt unprofessional. In the end, I lost my points and wasted time instead of getting a quick, simple refill. Not the service I’d expect, especially as a regular customer.

   I always go Lux, the staff are brilliant and always super friendly. Some of the food is a bit too crunchy for a cinema and due to their computer system, the orders quite often get mixed up but the staff always sort it out nice and quick. Their cocktails and deserts are amazing. The tacos are also great. Only other complaint is the process changes every time you go in, sometimes you show your ticket downstairs, sometimes they take your order from your table and sometimes you just go up to the bar and do it all in one go

   Friendly staff, good service. Sound is usually good but was too loud, might be fixed now. Lux is great but sometimes the electronics in the seating are defective or it's not cleaned too well. Food is pretty good, but of course it's the convenience that you're paying for.

   Sometimes the movie theatre isn't always cleaned properly before each movie. Service is fine most of the time however went to a late movie once and as they prepare the popcorn in advance was a little old. However overall been to 3 movies here in the last 6 months and have enjoyed it.

   After ordering online in paying a booking fee, found myself still having to line up to collect and print my tickets. I was trying to save time and be paperless, I achieved neither. Two out of three kiosks are out of action. Very little staff, didn't even check my ticket when I went in. Great for opportunists. Premium Price, sub-standard delivery. Can talk the talk, cannot walk the walk. Would score 0 stars if I could.

   Movie was good! Dbox seats where neat . The biggest let down was there was no drinks available from the self service area. And limited/low selection in the fridges. Staff were great and did apologise.

   Went Lux Cinema OMG amazing experience. Such an extravagant way to experience going to see a movie. Saw Avatar 3D. We sat in big lazy boy sitting that vibrated with sound, Adult drinks available. Ordered hot food before the movie that was bought in half way through the movie very yummy. Got a complimentary soft drink and popcorn. What you pay is definitely worth every cent. Won't go back to the cheap seats.
