Chambers Bar & Restaurant Morrinsville favours a simple, bistro‑style mix with clear flavours. Takeaway travels well and holds its crunch. A sensible spend for the spread. Serve sizes show solid value.
“Love the food, price and fantastic, friendly service at Cambridge RH. Eric is best barista in NZ. Love PJ and the other wait staff. A smile is free: thank you.”
“Im gonna tell you this is probably the best omelette in Cambridge. Staffs are really cool. Nice little stop for a brunch coffee without being too crowded.”
On the plate at Joe's Garage Cambridge, the idea is classic fish‑and‑chips and well judged. Pricing lines up with the offer. Buns hold well and patties come juicy. Meat‑free options are woven into the menu.
“This place is magnificent The store itself is well laid out welcoming and warm. My coffee of choice an iced caramel soy latte was absolutely delicious One of the best coffees I've had in a while. The service was lovely I was greeted with a warm welcome and I would definitely go there again I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice spot for a coffee or a bite to eat.”
“Beautiful premises and friendly staff. Delicious bubble tea. Loved the flavored pearls that tasted like toffee, unlike some places that add the pearls only for texture. I had the Dirty Milk Tea with Pearls. The tea itself could have tasted a bit more of tea instead of straight milk, but it made a good drink nonetheless with the pearls. Loved the decor, and the service.”
“Come for the climb, stay for the pies. After a semi-leisurely climb up Mount Te Aroha, my friend and I decided to stop at Kevin's Bakery for a food replen. The exterior seemed unassuming, and we were prepared for a meal pervaded by mediocrity. Upon entry, we were happily greeted by Kevin and his wife as we carefully selected our afternoon meal; she chose a butter chicken pie, I went for the reliable staple of steak and onion. The dappled sunlight splashed across our faces outside, as we cautiously bit into the crust. Dense chunks of meat and gravy filled my mouth, whilst flakes of perfectly formed pastry fell across my lap. I was in pie heaven. Within a few minutes I had consumed this bountiful feast, and returned back into the store for more. 10/10, would purchase multiple pies again.”
“Such brilliant coffee and lovely atmosphere, we love meet up here”
“The food was lovely here and friendly. Small size cafe and seemed popular. I will happily visit again.”
“Hidden gem in Hamilton CBD for breakfast. Good atmosphere and nice interior. Has Good coffee and breakfast. The eggs Benedict and pancakes are really tasty. Definitely recommended for breakfast.”

“Lovely cafe, our favourite in Cambridge. They have excellent coffee every time we visit, delicious pastries and great selection of hot food. The service is impeccable every time with friendly and helpful staff. The vibe is excellent, with shaded outdoor seating tucked away from the main CBD, fabulous place to sip a coffee and people watch or meet up with friends for a delicious brunch.”
The Deli On The Corner delivers a coffee‑and‑cabinet line‑up that’s straight to the point. Coffee pours are consistent and well textured. Eggs land on point and toast keeps its crunch. Portions are generous yet well judged.
“Haven’t been here for ages as previous times it was awful. This time the food was fantastic, coffee great and staff friendly so can recommend them highly. We had eggs Benedict and an omelette”
“I've been coming here for years and their friendliness and quality have never wavered. It's a happy, cheerful little cafe with spectacular coffee. There are allergy friendly options and they are always happy to make changes to a meal so that my family and I can eat despite our food sensitivities.”
“You must try the Ruakura Mitre 10 branch of Columbus Coffee. They do a great breakfast and coffee and the cabinet selection is wonderful. I also liked the more relaxed pace of this smaller Mitre 10 store. Treat yourself.”
“Jamaica Blue, Centreplace, Hamilton, has upped its game, since new owners have taken over! My simple order of food (a spinach & feta sausage roll) arrived quickly, hot, & beautifully presented, & with a small salad! Different menu cards, with pictures, lay on the table. Certainly a good experience!”
“My partner and I really enjoyed the bubble tea here. The three guys milk tea had a delicious tea flavour and the toppings were really nice and worked well with the tea. The brown sugar milk tea is also very good and the pearls are perfectly cooked and has a nice chew to them. I would recommend both of the teas. Would definitely be back!”
“The perfect place between Auckland and Hamilton to stretch the legs and enjoy some fantastic coffee and food options. I always have been and always will be a fan of their world famous chicken and bacon club sandwich, the popcorn shrimp tacos are also a big favorite of ours too. Highly recommend to all. “I’ve accomplished something monumental by finishing my first Grande Green Tea Latte. I had to work through slurps and sips and scoops of cream. I pushed as the sugar smashed against my brain. I squashed the internal rebellion of doubt that arose from my teenage anti-consumerist politics. I’m in my 30’s now and it’s a revelation to find joy in something that once made my stomach twist. I’ve come to realize that Starbucks is the cosmic center of a city. It’s the one constant force in a chaotic world. Honestly, learning to love Starbucks is like falling in love with life. There are so many possibilities ahead of me: Caramel Frappuccinos, Peppermint Mochas. The coffee nerd of my early twenties is dead and I’m being reborn as a new man. I want to make new decisions that allow me to experience pure pleasure, again and again and again. The future has never felt this bright.”
“An amazing place with a very vibrant atmosphere. The food and coffee are amazing. We specially go in just for the cheese scones. These are such amazingly scrumptious scones nowhere to be bought in Hamilton. The staff are wonderful and always interact well. Juna and Jody are marvelous. They always greet us with a very warm welcome. This is our weekly weekend go to place.”
“We go to this cafe regularly and love the food. The staff are great and it's always busy. Fabulous atmosphere, the menu has something for everyone. Tasty and delicious! We'll be back. New menu is outstanding!! ❤️”
“Yummy food. New menu. Staff were great, food was excellent and good coffee too. We stop here quite regularly as the kids love their Whittaker’s hot chocolates. They change up their menu seasonally which means it’s easy to find something new and exciting. The cabinet is always stocked with delicious cakes, slices and cookies too.”
Jago Town delivers a burger‑led line‑up that’s straight to the point. A sensible spend for the spread. Service stays present without fuss. Orders move at a steady pace. Combinations read bold but stay...
“They make the most beautiful (single shot) latte (& soy latte), foods are awesome as well. Friendly staff”
