The best ice cream cones in the North Island. Yes... better than Pokeno in my humble opinion. Only place I buy a scoop cone now, always stop in when I come through Morrinsville. Very well price. Single (Or as i call it: The Big One) $5. Double (The to big for me one) $6. As of 3rd Jan 2026 They also have a great range of pies and other yummy treats.

We purchased 2x coffee, 1 sausage, a filled roll and two large muffins. One blueberry and the another berry. The muffins per undercooked, crumbly, oily, and just plain inedible made from what tasted like a boxed cake mix. They looked really good but didn't live up to our expectation. I returned Said muffins to the till and explained that they were not nice . I wasn't expecting anything, just giving you a heads up, only to be told that I was mistaken, muffins were fresh, not undercooked, you had personally had one for lunch and definitely nothing wrong with them. You offered me a refund for one muffin like you were doing me a favour.

Stopped in for the first time and wow! Lots of seating both inside and out front. HUGE selection of cakes, pastries, hot foods, sandwiches, menu meals, drinks. Seriously wow! Really good prices for everything also and friendly service. Our new favourite when we pass through!!

$6.50 for a Chocolate Leamington, with old stale cream. Basically a sponge dipped in chocolate sauce. I get prices have gone up but $6.50?? Other bakeries have them at $4.00 to $4.50 which is understandable. I guess this will ultimatley be the demise of a business like this. More wastage meaning more loss, meaning less profit meaning ultimately one thing. Good luck to you. I wont be comming back.

Called in to get my mum a pie. Sorry to say this, but all the small pies were rock hard like they had been sitting in the warmer for hours, especially the potato top pies rock hard and dry. The potato fritters were disgusting, flat as a pancake dry, should be selling them for 20 cents $1.50 what a joke!!!

Food is good staff are all.polote and lovely bar one who is quite rude older gray haired lady with glasses. Her tone and obvious manner is shocking seen it and experinced it a few times. Feel she needs more customer service training

Great portions- the double happy sausage roll was epic! Great muffin selections all huge in size. Slices variable flavours with lots to choose from. Will take a slight detour off SH1 every time we go on a road trip from now on!
