Excellent!! Good portions, delicious food & great coffee. Service was friendly with a nice atmosphere. Prices were also very reasonable & the café is in a prime location.
What an absolute delight. Great service and food excellent. Ordered scrambled eggs which most times you never know how they are going to come out! As soon as I saw it…. Great portion size, light and fluffy, husbands meal deli breakfast, once again great portion well cooked excellent! Definitely worth stopping in for a meal and cuppa
Tables on the pavement in the shade under the wide shop veranda make an awesome place to eat lunch. Wide variety of gluten free cabinet food. We chose and had an awesome looking vegetarian quiche. Sadly there wasn't much flavour, it had the texture of scrambled egg and it could have done with salt & pepper being added to the egg mixture. On the plus side I was happy to see they were busy and the staff were amazing. A short wait for our great tasting coffees and they were a perfect temp too.
Don't get the fish and chips.... Frozen packet fish, if I had known I wouldn't have bothered... disappointed
The marmite scroll was great, the Thai wrap had too much sauce.
I realise we called in about 40 minutes before the closing time for a quick bite and drink, and also in knowing that the kitchen was closed, which was fine, but lacked that continued welcoming - 'happy to see you' attitude which does make a big difference between returning to this cafe or not. Great location, lots of both indoor and outdoor seating, and a thriving township atmosphere was good. Food was average, but it was the end of the day. Hence, my star rating
What a surprise this find is in Cambridge. This cafe has great food, great coffee and a great atmosphere. I would certainly return to this cafe and also I personally recommend you to stop by for coffee or chai. The food selection is wonderful too.
Wow, had their chicken and bacon salad special. It was amazing. A huge bowl of salad with a very generous serving of chicken and bacon, smothered in dressing and topped with gorgeous parmesan cheese. It is no surprise this little gem is always so busy. Highly recommended!
Food looks really good. Son ordered fruit bowl, banana milkshake and farmhouse breakfast and I ordered the eggs Benedict. Fruit was fresh and ripe. Very delicious. Banana milkshake was the best I've tasted for a long time! Unfortunately the scrambled eggs were closer to omelette and quite tasteless. The hollandaise on my Benedict was almost tasteless and the breakfast muffin(? Not sure if it was supposed to be sourdough or plain muffin) was difficult to cut.
