Beyond fitness, the YMCA in Hamilton is great for families and people of all ages. The swimming pool is another standout feature. It's well-maintained, and I love that it’s suitable for both casual swimmers and those who want to focus on fitness. Plus, there are a variety of programs for kids, including swimming lessons, sports camps, and after-school care, making it an ideal place for families to stay active together. What really stands out to me about the YMCA is the sense of community. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and dedicated to creating a positive environment. “Fair pricing in comparison to other nearby kids activity/playground places in Hamilton. Comparing fun and entertainment to other places - Again I would choose Inflatable World. Good on prices for the huge amount of fun with more to enjoy. When I took the kids we weren't aware of the socks policy but no problem for $2 we could buy a pair. Just pays to do your homework before heading off to places. Prepare, be aware, and play it .safe.”

When I got back to my car my daughter messaged asking me to look for an item in Farmers she wanted. It had been a long day and with achy feet I called the store, I spoke to a very helpful young lady in the toy department, she checked that they had the item in stock and took one to the counter ready for me to just pop back in. So helpful and my feet were grateful too! I will be back.”

“Great park for exercise and children love the park. A majority of locals come on a daily. Also has trees to sit under close proximity to park to have a picnic and keep an eye on your little one with public toilets close by too. A++”

“Friendly staff. It is a big store but easy to find whatever you are looking for. Parking is easy with under ground parks. Located in the heart of Hamilton. The main transport hub for the cities public transport is handy. Just across the road. Open till midnight. Disability parking spaces are available.”

The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay. Parking can be a bit tricky, so it’s worth planning ahead. If you don’t want to spend too much on parking, be prepared to park about a 10-minute walk away. Centre Place offers $10 parking if you register in advance, which is a great option. Overall, a great value hotel in a convenient location — I’d definitely stay again!”
