Beautiful club with excellent tables, perfect spot to practice during the day. Chillest staff especially one of their workers Soul, highly recommend signing up and playing at his club!

Extremely disappointed with the service at Massé Hamilton. I brought friends out for a night, and as members, we expected better. All of us were well over the legal age to purchase alcohol — in fact, three out of six were certified duty managers. When my daughter went to buy drinks for the group, she was told only three could be served alcohol — and only to the white guests. The others, who are Indian, were refused despite having shown valid ID when signing up earlier to play pool. To make it worse, there was no issue letting everyone walk straight into the pokies area. The double standards and the way the situation was handled felt blatantly discriminatory. This experience left them feeling embarrassed, singled out, and completely disrespected. I won’t be coming back, and I’ll be encouraging others to think twice before visiting.
I used to relish my visits to Massé pool, finding solace and friendly competition within its walls. It was a place where camaraderie flourished, and the clack of billiard balls was music to my ears. However, my recent experience has cast a long shadow, dampening my enthusiasm and making me question whether I'll ever return. A group of us from work decided to unwind there after a particularly grueling week, hoping to enjoy some pool and drinks. To our dismay, we were met with an absurd and inconsistent ID policy. Despite having visited multiple times without issue, we were suddenly told that because some of our group had foreign IDs, I (with a valid New Zealand ID) was prohibited from buying them alcoholic beverages. The absurdity of this situation was compounded by the fact that three of us, including myself, hold duty manager licenses and are well-versed in the rules surrounding alcohol sales. We understand that the ID requirement applies to the individuals ordering the drinks, not to the entire group. This policy felt discriminatory and completely undermined our ability to enjoy a relaxing evening. This visit was more than just a disappointment; it was a stark contrast to the fond memories I held dear. It's disheartening when a place you once cherished loses its luster due to illogical and poorly enforced rules. I truly hope Massé reconsiders its approach, but until then, I'll be seeking out alternative venues for our group outings.
First it was annoying that we had to become members before we could play. But after signing up it's super easy to go in and out. It's clean, tidy and overall a nice place to go to if you want to play pool :)
Good venue for something different to do. Well set up. Would love to play on the large size pool table at the back. Looks like fun
I love going to pool halls when I am out of town, and Masse' Hamilton was the place recommended to me. It was clean and the staff were very nice. However, only 7 ft coin tables were available to non-league players. They were not nearly as nice as the 8 ft predator tables, unfortunately.
I am sharing this review for the online shop rather than the Pool hall. Claire was extremely helpful trying to find the right products for me and organising an urgent shipment. Great customer service, she went above and beyond, thank you Claire! Highly recommend this shop
