“Ordered a Sir George and a Vege Supreme pizza . Staff were friendly and accommodating. Pizzas were ready within 10 minutes on a Friday night. Got it to takeaway as I find the atmosphere to be crowded with everyone else in there little high eatery . Pizzas are great with a perfect base and that authentic wood fired taste . Flavours on pizza are perfect. Can highly recommend getting the crust dipping sauces to accompany the pizza either by dipping the crust or putting directly onto the pizza . Highly recommend going along and trying .”

“Grabbed the 2 slices & a soda for $14 on Saturday just to switch up what I usually get at Riverside. I was prepared to be unimpressed, but had the opposite experience. The 2 slices of pepperoni I ordered were comically huge and utterly delicious: spicy, cheesy, rich -- not sweet sauce -- flavoured with herbs and spices. Very good value, imo.”

“Had the most amazing 21st Birthday dinner here. We come here all the time for dinner but the service tonight was absolutely amazing! Daragh was the lovely gentleman that took care of us most of the night, he had wonderful service and such a warm presence which made it way more enjoyable! And we had Ayung taking care of us the rest of the night and she was amazing on checking up on us and making sure we were happy all the way up to the end. “Chopsticks Restaurant is amazing, especially their lou sang and peng cai! The lou sang is super fresh, packed with flavour, and perfect for sharing—it’s seriously one of the best I’ve had. The peng cai is just as great, full of premium ingredients and so rich in taste. The food is top-notch, the vibe is chilled, and the service is on point. Highly recommend!”

“My first visit for Teppanyaki. We tried the all you can eat option. Though this menu is more simple foods in an all you can eat style, it didn't disappoint. The entree board with sushi and chicken was particularly enjoyable given the fresh and crisp contrasts. They have a Japanese version of an espresso martini with Baileys which was very good.”

Only criticism is the Butter Chicken was quite a sour tomato mix and needed more cream to dilute it a bit, as prepared by all the other Indian Restaurants we have visited. “Sal's is our absolute favourite pizza place, we go every week for date night. Recently moved over this side of town and absolutely thrilled that the local Sal's is just as good as the one in town. We've been to almost every store in Christchurch now and always have the same great experience. Nothing compares to Sal's. The Papanui staff were friendly and provided excellent customer service. Pizza was hot, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken pizza and pepperoni wheel.”

“We had a lovely lunch at Winnie Bagoes with my work crew yesterday. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside ... perfect spot to enjoy the sun and people watch. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Our server quickly put the umbrella up, took our drink orders, and was back in no time with them. He handled all our pizza questions like a pro — friendly, clear, and efficient. The pizzas were delicious (as always), and everything came out promptly. A relaxed, sunny lunch with great service and great food. Would definitely recommend for a casual group lunch in town.”
