I watched Katie from subway parklands Christchurch serve a long line of customers and online orders by herself. Her coordination skills, efficiency, and customer service while under pressure was on point. This young lady deserves a pay rise!
A real shame, I’m a local and have been for 20+ years, use to come here when I was working in the complex many years ago - the customer service went from being the absolute best to the absolute worst.. bring back the young bubbly guy!! He was amazing, believe he was at the south city branch before queenspark.
Poor form Parklands Subway. We eat here often through the years we’ve lived here. Tonight on the way to the park we were going to buy our children some cookies on our evening walk but you overheard our youngest also needed the bathroom and ushered us out of the store so we wouldn’t use the bathroom OR buy your products. Poor form. You’ve lost us as customers.
I’m really disappointed with Subway Parklands. The portions here are ridiculously stingy compared to other Subways I’ve been to. When I order a sandwich, I expect it to actually be filled properly, but here they barely put anything on. It feels like they’re trying to save every last shred of meat and veggies instead of giving customers the value we’re paying for. Honestly, what’s the point of ordering a sub if it ends up looking more like a dry bread roll with a few scraps inside? Definitely not worth the money, and I won’t be coming back!
Subway Parklands really needs to step up. The portions here are so small it feels like you’re being ripped off. Hardly any fillings, barely any meat, and they’re super stingy with the salad too. I shouldn’t have to ask multiple times just to get a decent amount in my sandwich. Other Subway stores are way more generous, so it’s frustrating that this one cuts corners. For the price you pay, you expect a proper sub, not half-filled bread. Really disappointing experience. We won’t be back.

Subway Parklands is my local store. I always get good service. Tonight, I ordered on the app for pickup. When I arrived, I could see the 3 staff on duty were very busy with both online and in-store orders. My order wasn’t quite ready but the staff member who acknowledged me on entry explained it was being worked on and apologised for any delay. I have worked in customer service and just wanted to say how impressed I was with the teamwork I saw and how polite the staff were - even while under pressure. Good work!

Parklands Subway in Christchurch is the best Subway! Have been going here for years! Only one I go to. It is great value, always fresh produce etc and friendly staff Update; Feb 2022 Unfortunately over the past 6 months no matter what time you go and what staff are on there salads especially and sandwich fillings are very small and amounts have definitely been cut! So I no longer go to this branch as it's not value for money!
