   Expensive place to have a drink. Staff were. almost too friendly as there was barely anyone in the place. Gordon’s pink gin on tap had just arrived so that was cool.

   Overall very average experience here the food was good but not great, definitely pub food, the female server had a attitude but the male server was good to deal with, the best thing was the fried chicken starter but the rest was just a but plain, steaks were average quality, not what was expected. Could do better.

   I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Styx & Stone. From start to finish, everything was impeccable. For my main course, I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana — and it was delightful. Perfectly cooked, tender chicken breast, coated in a crisp, golden crumb, smothered in rich, tangy tomato sauce, and topped with beautifully melted cheese. Every bite was pure comfort and flavor. For dessert, I couldn’t resist the affogato — and it did not disappoint. The balance of smooth, creamy vanilla ice cream and bold, aromatic espresso was heavenly. It’s the kind of simple yet luxurious treat that ends a meal on the perfect note. To accompany it all, I had an iced latte which was perfectly balanced: strong, smooth coffee with just the right touch of milk — refreshing and satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy yet modern. Highly recommend Styx & Stone for anyone looking for an effortlessly enjoyable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!

   Table booked for 7.15pm, food wasn't served until 8.45pm. We asked twice about our order (still no apology) Our 2 kids ended up to tired to eat! Had the cheek to ask if we wanted dessert, didn't have another spare 2 hrs to wait for that. No apology from staff or a valid explanation as to why we waited 1 1/2 for our food to appear. Won't be back & wouldn't recommend.

   I dined at Styx with some old friends recently and we had a wonderful evening. The friendly staff provided an excellent timely service in very pleasant surroundings. I chose the eye fillet served with a peppercorn sauce and a roast potato accompanied by vegetables. The steak was cooked to perfection. It was delicious. There is something on the menu for everyone. I'll be back.

   We had dinner at Styx and Stone a few days ago. The service was very friendly and prompt and the food was delicious. My husband had a steak and he said it was the best he'd had in ages. I had a yummy burger with generous helpings of french fries. The menu is extensive with heaps of choice. We will definitely return next time we are in Christchurch. Thanks for a very enjoyable meal!

   The food was ok. The pork belly bites were a little dry. The mussels smelled a little funky and were slightly over cooked. The calamari was cooked well and the fries were spot on. The presentation was awesome. The service was friendly and efficient and the meals were reasonably priced. Music was a little loud but it was a Friday night.

   Incredible service. Outstanding staff who were nothing was a hassle. So polite, friendly and happy. Bella made a delicious cocktail, Kyra did a great job as a waiter! Brian was an excellent waiter and manager. Service with a smile. Great food.
