   We booked the one hour fantail trek. Was amazing seeing the fantail fly past and go across the river. I ride a lot but the rest of my family don’t. The trek guide was very nice and taught them what they needed to know like a mini lesson beforehand. She also took many photos of us and sent them to me. The horses are well behaved and well looked after. I totally recommend doing this trek no matter what riding level you are at. Was very easy ride but highly enjoyed it. Thanks for the great time!

   Absolutely amazing place to go for a trek, staff were amazing with helping me gain my confidence on the wonderful and amazing Courage. The scenery was amazing, the horses are all beautiful and I loved learning about each of their race careers. I loved going into the river on horse back. The whole things was one seriously amazing experience and I can not wait to come back. Also absolutely loved our trek leader talking with her while riding made me feel like it wasn't the first time back on a horse in over 8 years

   Wonderful experience. Went for a 2 hr trek with my daughter. We had a great time. Our riding guide Amelie was fantastic, informative and very knowledgeable about the area. Thoroughly recommend. Dress warmly for winter. Horses were wonderful. Can't wait to repeat!

   Really great place to ride that ticks all the boxes. Wonderful horses ☑ Amazing people ☑ Stunning location ☑ My 12 year old daughter has riding lessons elsewhere once a fortnight but just for her birthday I arranged for here to go for a horse trek, a little different and just for fun. She absolutely loved it. I went along and it was an absolute pleasure.

   Absolutely brilliant experience. Right from being welcomed by Meg the sheepdog to the friendly staff and of course the well trained and extremely well behaved horses Dash and Tonna. Fantastic scenery along, around and through the turquoise waters of the Waimak river. Sasha was an outstanding host and a pleasure to trek around with. If you are considering trying a horse trek in Canterbury I personally would highly recommend these guys. Very knowledgeable and very understanding of our lack of experience.
