   What a great little find. We stopped at the store for a quick drink on our moto tour and were gifted with easily the best mango smoothie I have ever had, an absolutely phenomenal chocolate thickshake for hubby and some genuine and welcome conversation with Peter. If you want great food, great drinks and some great stories, make sure this place is in the GPS as one of your rest stops.

   Great for a quick sip or a tasty bite on your way to or from Birdlings Flat or Akaroa. I enjoyed a Kumara Popper. Wife had a Passion Fruit and Lime Dream Slice. Both were delicious! The gift shop is an added bonus. Comfortable, informal atmosphere. Staff and owner are friendly and gregarious.

   We had a fabulous high tea today the food was beautifully made and delicious . I sample a lot of high teas in Chch and this is one of the best . Staff were so warm and friendly we had a very enjoyable afternoon and did I mention the gorgeous gift shop !

   My mum visited from Auckland, so I thought it would be nice to treat us to High Tea at the Tai Tapu Store. We had a delightful afternoon, enjoying our High Tea at 1:00 PM. It was so tasty that we couldn't quite finish everything, but we were lucky to have a takeaway container. The ambiance was lovely, featuring a great indoor-outdoor flow, excellent service, and a quaint little gift shop. It was the ideal way to wrap up my mum's visit to Christchurch.

   The store may be modest but so worth the visit. We went for the high tea as there were few other places that do this on weekdays. Every item was outstanding. Staff were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

   The Store Tai Tapu, I had always wanted to go here. My expectations were blown away, there is a gift area with such cute & quirky things. The atmosphere was welcoming. I ordered a ‘Very Berry Smoothie’ I sat down in the charming outdoor area. It came quickly and it was a decent size and it tasted great. Overall, I think more people need to come here, it’s a hidden gem. Definitely will be back.

   It was a year ago! I wanted to remember this place! I was impressed! I heard it while driving by! I found this place after looking at the picture now! A cafe I saw while passing through Akaroa! We had coffee and brunch and it was so delicious! It was delicious and I was happy~ Lucky!
