   We stopped in for a late lunch whilst out for a bike ride. We both ordered the chicken burger - massive portion of chicken (three decent sized pieces per burger), beautifully cooked, tender & juicy. Yummy cheese melted to the top of the fresh, soft brioche bun. Could’ve either seasoned the chicken more or had a spicier chipotle sauce to really push it up to a top class burger! As it was, still a very good burger! Would definitely come back for the sweets cabinet as we were too full to enjoy it!

   Bit noisy and crowded but staff were super friendly and pretty efficient. Very tasty coffee. I had avocado toast on seed bread which was surprisingly a little bland. Toast could have been more crispy but the poached egg was perfection and the glaze added a nice boost. My companion had a premade sandwich that was quite good and an iced coffee.

   The bread on the muffin was unfortunately hard. I could barely cut and chew it. Perhaps it was outdated. At least the atmosphere was nice and the service friendly.

   Saturdays Cafe is a hidden gem! Tucked away by He Puna Taimoana Hot Pools, it's New Brighton's best kept secret! A matcha lovers dream. I had the Iced Strawberry Matcha and Matcha French Toast. Both had very good, strong matcha flavours in them. The French Toast had dollops of matcha cream cheese, chocolate, and caramel sauces, making it a very sweet treat. Yum! The cutest little cafe. Beautiful views of the New Brighton Pier. I absolutely love the decor. Staff were so lovely and provided a warm atmosphere.

   Everything about this cafe is beautiful. The food is so well presented and tastes amazing, the customer service was really good! The lady greeted us at our table and took our orders by memory. The best iced mocha i have had in a while and the views of the beach from the tables are even better. The only problem is the bathrooms are also shared with the hot pools so they are in constant use, better to go over to the library. I also noticed they sell plants so make sure you bring some cash if you want any.

   We went there on Saturday. It was almost 1 PM but the place was very busy! We ordered light meals and waited 20 minutes for our food to arrive. Although we were not hungry, the food tasted a little plain. We can enjoy the view by the sea which was a highlight of this cafe. Otherwise, average place to go.

   i come here often and it is usually a good time with yum food but today was different when my fried chicken looked completely un edible. i talked to the manager and told him i didn’t feel comfortable eating it and he told me that it was fine while talking over me and did not offer any further suggestions. the left was what the chicken looked like to the rest of it.

   Love the cafe and views! The food was excellent too! We ordered the bao buns with pork belly and peanut butter waffles! It was delicious the bao buns and the pork belly was tender! The waffles were crispy and the peanut butter was smooth! Coffee was great and service was excellent
