“I have been in Smarty Pants a number of times, sometimes I'm not quite sure what gift I'm after, last time it was for my 10yo nephew who lived in Australia. After being asked a few thoughtful questions the retail assistant offered some suggestions and showed me a couple of items, it was perfect! The best service, she really took the time to help me without any of the pushiness. Really friendly and positive. The shop itself is treasure, laid out beautifully with high quality items. Back for sure, next time its lunchboxes! From past experience, I know that they will talk me through the options so I get the right one!”

“What a top notch place for burgers and nachos hidden gem in Christchurch. There burger size are super big not like other shops serving small burger. Real Food is when it’s cooked properly with time and it taste yummy . They made meat of chips on my special request which was mind blowing chips were so crispy and meat was full of flavours. 10 out of 10 for the lovely food and the service:)”

“This evening, a staff member went above and beyond for our family! I believe her name was Kaye, working in the click and collect department this evening. After my husband came home with our order, we realised we were missing a few things. I called up to explain and Kaye was so apologetic and helpful! So much so that she personally delivered our missing items to our home after her shift finished! Just incredible!”

“Absolutely amazing service from a young lady working here. She helped me find the best bras to complement my figure. Her sizing advice was spot on. She even gave me a new style to try that I surprisingly loved. Not only are the staff lovely, but so are the deals honestly worth the 20-minute drive for me. I was able to buy 4 bras for $150. This is amazing considering I went to a store the weekend prior, and it would've come to $245. If you are looking for kind, fast, service and some good deals, I recommend giving this place a go.”

“I love this home store. My son has autism and can't handle loud noises and they even have noise cancelling hearing protectors that look funky and wonderful and don't make him look out of place. They are not the standard orange but a fluro green. They have everything here and a very knowledgable staff who will help and have advice on everything in store. And there is an awesome little play area.”

“Customer service was good - the sales lady was attentive and listened to my problem about the last two pairs of shoes I'd purchased for a destructive three year old boy with a tendency to ruin the front toe cap of his shoes within a day. She sold me a pair of Clarks shoes that were on sale. I'm happy that these shoes are still intact after four days and looking in great condition. Would definitely shop here again as this store has a better range of shoes for toddlers/pre-schoolers than other stores.”

“The team here support the local LEGO group, if you're after LEGO, look no further. On multiple occasions I have contacted them to express interest in yet to be released sets. They have taken down my contact details, set the item aside when stock came in, then called me back to let me know it's ready. Kudos to whatever system to they're using to keep track of these requests, as sometimes the products haven't reached NZ until months after my initial contact. To top it all off they even ensure you get your desired minifig in the blind bags. The prices can be a little higher than the likes of Kmart or The Warehouse, but it's worth it.”
