The venue was gorgeous, the show was great, and overall it was just a lovely atmosphere! If either of us ever go back to Auckland, we will definitely be looking to see another show here! “Update- this little place no longer operates as a cafe. But instead is a cute venue and pizzeria and bar. Hours can vary so best to check out when they are open for pizza and drinks. The best little cafe in Westmere. We went to a birthday party here and it had an awesome private tiny theatre and private garden. There was also the public cafe with delicious food and coffee.”

“Highly recommended!! Hired this hall for a first birthday in the weekend and it was such a beautiful venue. Easy to hire, communication was quick and very efficient. Very easy to find if you are using the google maps. We hired the main hall and small meeting room next to the kitchen and the kitchen we also added the Full stage and AV package. We were given a video with instructions on how to use the Full AV and it was very informative and very easy to follow. For someone who don’t know anything about AVs, we had no problem at all and everything worked out well. Very happy!! Photos below…”

“Great place for picnics. Provides shelter from the sun, wind and rain. Cafe close by, should you want to go for coffee after your picnic. Kids like to play there. Usually, it's quiet there.”

“Traveled from South Auckland to bring our son here for his birthday based off the great reviews and his love for crepes. Specifically only came for that one dish, the crepes, and man they didn't disappoint! The crepes were flavorful! Very tasty! Price is reasonable I spose. Service was great, She always had a smile, kept water topped up, greeted and farewells us. Made us feel comfortable being Hori's in a boujee environment lol Atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Beautiful view. Going back to try the meals on the menu. Highly recommended the crepes!!”

“The staff here were very accommodating after I had mistakenly booked wheelchair tickets for the Commodores concert as someone who's not physically disabled. They switched up our seats with some empty seats and allowed me and my partner to still sit together. The centre is very nice and comfortable, and there is free water from the fountain.”

“Hawkins Theatre in Papakura is now open after refurbishment. Hawkins theatre is a great place to meet with friends and enjoy each others company while catching a movie, school performances, Dane competitions, events and awards, The Glow Show, or a fun time with Operatunity!! You can purchase ice-cream, coffee, biscuits, or wine at the bar. You can take them into the theatre with you also. If you are a senior and purchase your tickets online for the movies, currently they are only $10:00. Hawkins theatre is also a lovely place to take the grandchildren/mokopuna for the movies anytime. There is often a Ladies night, which costs $24 or $26 depending if you purchase in advance or at the door. Thus usually involves a chick flick(however some me do attend) a drink of any kind and an ice-cream. A great deal. Here are a few photos of the April program to pique your interest.”

Great selection of yummy non mainstream treats , I even got to swim my dog under the motorway and saw an angle of the Harbour bridge I've not seen before !!! “Last international act I saw was back in the 80s in the 'super top' with UB40. Boy things have changed. And for the better. Plenty of kiosks & free water. The arena's sound system is 1st class & its probably the way I would like to see acts from overseas.”

“Went to the Glen Eden Playhouse Theatre last weekend to watch a musical play! It was easy to access!! Since the play was in the evening lots of parking were available at the back of the building and the seats were comfortable inside the theatre. It was quite spacious and could fit over 100 people!!”
