Hawkins Theatre in Papakura is now open after refurbishment. Hawkins theatre is a great place to meet with friends and enjoy each others company while catching a movie, school performances, Dane competitions, events and awards, The Glow Show, or a fun time with Operatunity!! You can purchase ice-cream, coffee, biscuits, or wine at the bar. You can take them into the theatre with you also. If you are a senior and purchase your tickets online for the movies, currently they are only $10:00. Hawkins theatre is also a lovely place to take the grandchildren/mokopuna for the movies anytime. There is often a Ladies night, which costs $24 or $26 depending if you purchase in advance or at the door. Thus usually involves a chick flick(however some me do attend) a drink of any kind and an ice-cream. A great deal. Here are a few photos of the April program to pique your interest.

Beautiful theater ideal for concerts, plays and movies. A very large stage and the comfortable seating is well thought out. The sound system would be top of the range. Nice foyer area to relax. Can have a coffee and snacks. Warm and pleasant inside with lots of car parking.
