“I've been coming here for years. Easily the best Thai food I've had in NZ! Personally I love the stir fried fresh ginger with tofu and I ask for medium spicy. I could eat it every night. Yum!”

“Fantastic Thai restaurant we stumbled upon as we were early for an event. The servings were generous, with perhaps a little too much meat (or so my fiance thought, though I thought it was perfect). They actually listened to us when we asked for it to be hot, as too often I get served "European hot" which is mild at best. The prices were also very low. Despite being 20 minutes drive from home, this will likely now be our go to place for Thai.”

“Me and my colleagues had a birthday dinner here, and it was such a lovely evening. The food was amazing and authentic Thai surely, I want to confirm it as a Thai person. The place was nice and crowded, so I’d definitely recommend you to book a reservation in advance if you don’t wanna wait a long time for the table. The staffs were nice and understood that we did truly want Thai food in a Thai version for Thai people, not like some restaurants where they water down and make it too sweet to satisfy those who are not Thai and cannot handle the spicy food.”

The food was AMAZING, this is my second time eating at this restaurant and I will definitely be coming back! I have tried the pad Thai, Tom yum, green curry, squid tentacles. The portions are massive and the prices are very cheap. I make the mistake of ordering entrees and can’t finish my main. The pina coladas are genuinely the best iv ever had and only $10!! I live on the coast but make the journey to Albany because it’s worth it :)”

“I have been here a few times but never posted a review before. Lovely food. Very tasty and flavourful. Spring rolls, curry puffs, prawn Penang curry, spicy fried rice, pad Thai and steamed rice. Portion size was meh but this is not your regular Chinese takeaway so don’t expect the same. Overall great food and good service”

“I arrived and was greeted straight away. It’s a small restaurant, but it didn’t feel too cramped. We ordered spicy fried rice and spicy noodles with chicken. The food arrived in good time and was very tasty, with nice fresh veggies and noodles/rice perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this place for a great Thai meal. “Ive been here a few times and each brings me back! I love a good Larb Salad, and theirs is very good!!! But the star today was the Chiang Mai noodles. OMG it was amazing. Khao Soi is the actual name for this particular curry, but it comes from northern Thailand, and reminded me of my visit to Chiang Mai, hence the name! I must have this again!!!! It’s a small place, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in warmth and charm. We ordered the chicken with cashew nuts and the pineapple fried rice, and both dishes were absolutely spot on. The chicken was tender and juicy, perfectly coated in a savoury, slightly sweet sauce, and the roasted cashews gave it a nice crunch. The pineapple fried rice came served in a generous portion, packed with flavour and fresh ingredients — you could really taste the balance between the sweet pineapple, fragrant rice, and subtle spices. “I ordered 3 mains (beef penang, chicken green curry, and tofu pad see ew) and two entrees (tomyum) for three of us and the portions were so massive we had heaps of leftovers! The food is clean, fresh, and absolutely delicious with generous vegetables, spices/herbs, nuts, and meat. I found this place by scrolling through community pages and very happy I did. The lady who served me was super friendly and elegantly handled my requests (I always ask for half sugar at any Thai place), and all dishes were considerately packaged, and best of all, ready within 10 minutes of ordering over the phone. My new favourite Thai takeout, will go back very soon to try the larb gai, thank you thank you, khap kun kha!”

“If you are looking at comment a year ago or more please try ignore. If you have visited this place over a year ago I would recommend coming in again! My partner and I felt like Thai so we came for dinner and it was SO good! Waitress need a bit of practice but these are new owners since March 2022 and it was so nice! Such an underrated place for the food that is served. Give this place another shot this food wont disappoint”
