This restaurant was good when it was on Ti Irrirangi Drive, but since they have moved to Howick they are great! The service is amazing too. There are a variety of dishes which are amazing. IN the starters the karee puff, samosas, prawn on bed are nice. In the soups the Tom Yum soup and the Tom Kha soup are really good! In the mains the pad thai, gang penang curry, the lazy prawns and the crab fried rice are delicious! Crab fried rice is the best dish and eating it with chilli oil is the icing on the cake which makes the dish taste even better! The cocktails are good. The long island ice tea (not on the menu) I tried is nice. Among the mocktails passionfruit and lychee one is also amazing! If you like Thai Food you can't go wrong here!

Been there multiple times and never disappointed. The service is warm and friendly. Hardly to find a table in weekend if didn’t book in advance. Duck red curry is always a go to. Mild spicy with the vibrant flavor from red curry. Pad Thai is authentic. There are many specialities dishes which are creative Thai fusion food you can explore. Good Thai restaurant in the area

I often come here with friends, and it’s almost always busy β€” but the food still comes out quite fast. The fried chicken and the lemon fish are both highly recommended. The lemon fish is especially flavorful; I suggest ordering it medium spicy as it pairs perfectly with rice. The som tum papaya salad is tangy, refreshing, and very appetizing. If you’re a fan of fish, the lemon fish is definitely worth trying. Prices are reasonable and overall a great place to eat. Recommended!

My family and I came here to celebrate my parents 30++ wedding anniversary. It was really horrible to find parking. Waiting for 10-20minutes really dampened my mood. Even with street parking - the road can be quite busy. The food was full of delicious flavors but the portions were smaller than what it appears on the menu. Service was good but the couple before us were given the wrong receipt (it was ours) because staff assumed we were together. Although the couple should have questioned the big bill (for 7 people instead of only 2), this mistake should have been prevented. Unfortunately the couple paid before realizing and it was the staff that realized when we walked forward to the till. It looked like they were getting their money back but had to wait until we paid. Would I go again? Maybe if it was a dinner date with my partner & I, but I would not recommend for bigger number.

Me and my colleagues had a birthday dinner here, and it was such a lovely evening. The food was amazing and authentic Thai surely, I want to confirm it as a Thai person. The place was nice and crowded, so I’d definitely recommend you to book a reservation in advance if you don’t wanna wait a long time for the table. The staffs were nice and understood that we did truly want Thai food in a Thai version for Thai people, not like some restaurants where they water down and make it too sweet to satisfy those who are not Thai and cannot handle the spicy food.

Busy restaurant with tastily meals. Green vegetarian curry was really good! We also tried some non alcoholic cocktails - interesting flavours and nice decorating.

One of the best Thai restaurants! Haven’t seen any Thai buffets in Auckland and here is the one. Fried fish is absolutely delicious.

Bland, mild, sugary shadow of Thai cuisine with low quality ingredients, a canteen atmosphere and awful service. We were really disappointed. The dishes are about as authentic as Thai chicken pie - just not as good. It was so expensive and AWFUL. Overpriced and lacking all vibrancy. If you want authentic, flavourful, light, spicy Thai with succulent meats and excellent spice/herb/sour/earthy balance it’s a 30sec walk to β€˜Thai Licious’ - my favourite Thai spot in Auckland. Should have stuck with the best instead of trying the rest. We paid $24.50 for a tiny, congealed massaman curry with sinewy chicken - it’s $19.90 at Thai Licious only fresher, bigger and SO much better. The Na Na Thai vibe is depressing - the bar was entirely covered with dirty glasses during our visit and the staff didn’t really show much respect for diners attempting to eat in peace - they smashed the glasses about into dishwashers and even begun vacuuming the carpet next to people eating. We felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave so asked if they could wrap the food up for us (the rice at least was worth taking) but instead of removing the four dishes and wrapping them in the kitchen they dumped two takeaway containers on the table and began clearing the plates while my partner was still eating. Won’t be back!

Came here with my wife last Saturday night and I must say, this is definitely one of the top 3 Thai restaurants I have ever tried in Auckland. I went to Thailand 3 years ago and Na Na Thai's food is really authentic, which reminded me of the time I was in Thailand. My wife really loved the raw prawns and the crabs were also amazing. After finishing our meal at a restaurant, I always ask my wife if she wants to try it again. Na Na Thai is definitely the one we will visit more often in the future. Good job, guys!
