“Ok i firstly need to admit, I'm not easy to please these days, as i find many places just lack in quality service and overall taste and flavour. I'm happy to report this place is really nice. Wonderful friendly service and excellent quality food. We had the twice braised beef, lamb ribs, pan seared beans, chips, money bags and beef dumplings. All dishes were just as they should be. The lamb didn't look that nice but the first bite changed all that with a lovely flame grilled flavor. We'll definitely be back for more.”

“I've had two great meals here with friends over the last year (which is also how often I've been to Auckland over the last year lol), the Mussels are delicious! This time they had a new dessert on the menu, a Banoffee Pie, and it was stand out good!! 100% will order again if I'm back in Auckland. The staff are fantastic, really attentive and good at what they do, they make you feel like family. And they are so careful with dietary restrictions, we have a few coeliacs in our group and with everything on the menu being available as gluten free, they really enjoyed themselves, and the staff double check about the dietary restrictions to ensure no issues.”

“Enjoyed a breakfast here on a Monday morning in an outdoor seating overlooking Oneroa township. Monday is a relatively quiet day on Waiheke without the weekend xrowds. The menu for breakfast and brunch was reasonably comprehensive and well priced. The restaurant was busy and frequented by locals which was a good sign”

“I’ve been coming here since high school. I’m 28 years old now and still visit every chance I get. I love the staff, they’re so extremely kind. The ramen always comes piping hot, with generous veggies and delicious chashu. The counters are always spotlessly clean. You are a well cared and valued customer when you visit Kiraku. “We decided to try this place after asking some diners who were just leaving if they enjoyed there food. Nice clean premises with an eclectic decor. We were seated with menus & hot Jasmine tea. So hard to choose from the beautiful pics in the menu! We ordered two types of fried dumplings, a pork dish and a beef dish. Food came out fast, nice big portions and full of flavour! Absolutely delicious!! Thank you will return soon.”

“Mamak was a wonderful spot to catch up and enjoy some warm, comforting food. I had dinner there with two friends. Since I had heard their roti is popular, I ordered it along with a curry chicken laksa. Even though it was a Wednesday, the place still had a nice crowd. The laksa was hearty and delicious, and the roti was perfect for dipping. Definitely a place I would recommend!”

“Golden Silk Thai is a special place where very good food can be found. I am not unfamiliar with Golden Silk as the family have been getting take aways there for years. They provide a very authentic menu and is well worth spending time in the restaurant too as some of the best dishes are only served in the restaurant. Highly recommended”

“First time trying this place after moving into the area. Ordered a hot red duck curry takeaway. Took about 15 minutes. It was so good! Lots of vegetables, a whole breast cut up on top and actually spicy! Came with rice so very well priced for $24, especially for the duck serving. Woman on counter super friendly. Will be back!”

“WOW, my 3rd visit to this establishment for celebrating birthdays and today a MOTHERS DAY high tea experience! This was outstanding, the wait staff really looked after our table despite the cheek I gave them all. The place settings and tea selection was first class, then came the delicious high tea style food plus hot savouries absolutely amazing and super delicious we managed to eat everything presented! After our feasting we all went for a stroll around the beautiful property, fantastic a wonderful place for wedding photo shoot! Oh and the venue of course. Thank you for the most enjoyable trouble free MOTHERS DAY celebration! No dishes or cleaning up required! I ordered the pepper steak and my husband ordered the spaghetti bolognese per the staff’s recommendation, and neither of us could stop eating and cleaned our plates.
