Sushi night on Saturday was fantastic! Fish was so fresh and delicious, can’t wait to try it again. The Chef and service were accomodating and friendly. Great experience
Been here a couple times for their Saturday Sushi night and ordered lunch bentos for work too. Atsushi serves top quality nigiri sushi and the staff provides excellent services. During regular days Ikkyu is also a great option for Japanese quick meals for both lunch and dinner. Highly recommend
Great Japanese-style food with authentic flavors! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive. A fantastic dining experience overall!
Good ramen place in town Affordable and close to uni
Don't go. The amount of food is absurd. Only for small 4 dumplings are $11.5 Also, I ordered the dumplings only, but I had to wait for 10 minutes to get it. Even though there was only one customer except me.
I would recommend the tofu salad here! It is halal and it is really good. The vege gyoza was good. My vege ramen was okay. The takoyaki has too much flour to my taste.
Nice staff, fair prices. Very happy to see vege options as I was coming here with friends. Offers takeaway too. Decent portions, but fantastic food which comes very quickly. Very unique and have never had anything similar anywhere else. Plenty of seating too, some of which is outdoors. Very clean interior and would be perfect for a date.
My sis and I really love Japanese food and she recommended us to come here during our mini date in the city. Ambiance 5/5 – Everything was nice and clean! Due to Level 2, they distanced the tables. The inside was spacious which is why there was still ample seating despite needing to distance the tables. Food 5/5 – My sis ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry and I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and Renkon chips. Loved the Renkon chips that we ordered it twice! Crunchy and well-seasoned, great snack. The portion sizes were awesome! We were nice and full at the end. I enjoyed the Ramen broth because it was thick, rich and had a great umami flavour. Staff and Service 5/5 – The best about this experience is the staff there. They were so friendly, kind and attentive! One instance is when I came there by myself, I informed them that my sister was still on her way and I asked if I could still sit inside. They allowed me to. Second, some part of my noodles in the ramen was stuck all together and he said it was probably because it was not submerged in the water enough. He apologized and immediately offered to replace the whole bowl even though nothing else was wrong with it! Third, because I was doing some work while I was eating, I had my laptop out and it seemed there was not enough space on the table for my food. The gentleman there was nice enough to give us another table so our stuff would fit, and a couple of chairs so our stuff was not on the floor. I cannot stress enough how much we appreciated his kind gestures! Thank you very much for a wonderful experience. I hope we can visit again next time.
