   Edit: came back to try more of the menu and the skewers were INCREDIBLY good!! The xiao long bao were excellent, as was the service. The atmosphere was really pleasant and welcoming too. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu

   A hidden gem in Browns Bay:) This cosy, family-friendly Chinese restaurant has friendly staff and a quiet, tidy setting. The food tastes fresh and homely, rather than like a typical skewer shop, and the flavours are balanced and delicious. The xiaolongbao were just right, not too salty or oily, and the meat and veggie skewers tasted so fresh, with a sauce that wasn’t too strong but still really tasty. I brought the kids and ordered only the mild ones, and they enjoyed every bite. I also like that it’s an open kitchen, so you can watch them cook while they keep everything spotless. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu.

   This is my new favourite restaurant in Auckland. They have the best quality skewers ever. We have been coming once every week for the past month and always leave with full, happy stomachs. Quality of meat is so good - highly recommend getting the beef and pork belly skewers - and the prices are so cheap! Look at that seasoning! Spicy dumplings and scallion pancakes are our go-to sides. Have yet to try the XLB or noodles so will get them next time. PLEASE don’t ever change!!

   New fave Chinese restaurant in Browns bay. Skewers were moist and delicious. Xiaolongbao was surprisingly very good (much better than many north shore places) but the scallion noodles was the best. Highly recommend
