Authentic and spacious Korean Food at Botany Junction. It is a bit hidden and will need to search for the restaurant. Decently priced.

I used to really like this place before it changed its name. The previous portion sizes were good for price, now it seems the hot grill plate even had gaps where food was missing, and less meat than before. Taste is good though. Thier pancakes are excessively oily, made me feel sick afterwards. And the fried chicken was a tad oily too, plus had this heavy thick sugary + hot spice coating which I personally don't particularly enjoy. Good amount of heat though but was way too hot for the wife to enjoy. The chicken pieces were awesome and meaty, plus nice and soft.

I dined here recently with my sister. I had the Fish Roe Stew, while she went for the chips and fried shrimp. I found my dish quite delicious, though my sister thought hers was a bit too salty, as she's used to low-sodium meals. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. The staff were welcoming and attentive, which added to the atmosphere. Prices are slightly higher than other spots in the area, but the quality of the food makes it worthwhile.

We recently dined at New Soul Korea restaurant and had a great experience overall. We ordered the sweet and spicy chicken as well as the stir-fried pork, and both dishes were full of bold, authentic Korean flavours. The sweet and spicy chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and generously coated in a sticky, well-balanced sauce that had a nice kick without being too overwhelming. It hit that perfect spot between savoury and sweet. The stir-fried pork was also a standout, with tender slices of meat cooked in a rich sauce and served with fresh vegetables that added both crunch and balance to the dish. The portions were quite generous, and we left feeling full and satisfied. The presentation of the dishes was clean and appealing, and the service throughout our visit was polite and efficient. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the food came out relatively quickly despite the restaurant being fairly busy. One thing to note is that the prices are a little on the higher side, especially when compared to more casual Korean eateries. However, given the quality of the ingredients and the overall dining experience, it still felt worth it. The restaurant itself is modern and cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it suitable for both casual meals and small group gatherings. Parking was not an issue at all — there’s ample parking nearby which made getting in and out very easy, especially for a busy area like Botany. All in all, it is a great spot for those looking to enjoy well-executed Korean comfort food with a bit of flair.

Food was alright, but for the amount we paid, the portions of the Kimchi soup and Soy paste beef soup were so bad. I know that we’re in the middle of a recession right now, but the amount of meat we got was so disappointing. Especially the beef soup - literally shards of beef in between a whole heap of vegetables. I initially thought it would all be at the bottom but that wasn’t the case, and it felt like I was eating vegetable soup. Would not really recommend - there are so many other Korean restaurants out there that are better value for your money.

What can I say? The food here is amazing. We had stone pot bibimbap, beef rib soup, soft tofu stew and a seafood pancake. All were delicious and we totally recommend. The ingredients are of high quality and super fresh. We'll definitely be back!

Another go-to place for Korean food. Especially, If you come in a big group, there are great dishes to share (ie. fish roe soup/pancake/etc. )

Great go to Korean meals done very well, crispy pancake and solid bbq plate options. Loved the side dish options there were a good selection and we dined fairly happily. Super busy for dinner and not enough wait staff to clear tables, felt bad for staff as the turnaround meant a fairly long wait time. Go in with patience if it’s at peak dinner hour :-)

Went there on a Saturday lunch and it was quite busy. The inside was quite warm and the smokey smell was strong, there was an air con next to us but was not turned on. However, the food was good and the side dishes had different varieties. There are also options for the hotness level, so it is quite child friendly. Our son was also given a free bottle of yogurt drink which I guess was a bonus to the experience.

Had a great experience here for lunch, food came out piping hot and the spice level (which you can choose) was right where I wanted it (quite spicy for Korean food). The service was good and the manager was quite interested in what I thought of their food. Good selection of banchan and they offered to top me up which I always appreciate, but couldn’t this time because I was very full as the portions were generous for the price.
