Ensure you go to him if you are getting quotes to find out the questions you need to ask to ensure you are not getting a quote for bodge job by a inexperienced mechanic.”

Does a genuine thorough inspection of the vehicle and investigation into what parts could be causing particular issues. Has a detailed invoice with notes for any near future issues that might need to be addressed.
