   I've had nothing but good experiences with Osborne Plumbing and Gas, they've fixed multiple leaking taps, replaced a flashing on the roof, reconnected a bathtub fitting after it sprung a leak, serviced our Rinnai's and found and fixed a gas leak, each time their plumbers were friendly, professional, tidy and quick. I can recommend their friendly service without hesitation.

   Dishonest and Unprofessional. I had originally commissioned their services in regards to: *A water bill which was ~3 times higher than normal (Clearly indicating a significant leak). The plumber did a superficial walk around (to the same extent that my Tenant had already done), no diagnostic equipment, and described it as a "thorough investigation". *A leaking Shower mixer handle. He noticed that there was a leak, but made no attempt to fix it. I had clearly stipulated, before anyone was even sent to the site, "to save on multiple callouts, if a problem is found investigate/fix it while on site". I was billed for 1.75hrs of work, $258.75. They probably didn't expect that someone else was watching the clock - my Tenant had to open the gate twice to let this person in/out of the complex. Total time on site was ~28 minutes. As they realised that this lie wouldn't stand, I was offered a credit towards the original invoice. The remaining amount was still absurd - $172.50. Especially considering that I had a competent Plumber follow up on this job, and He managed to carry out all of the work for $186.30 - the mixer alone was sorted within half an hour. The issue was a simple cartridge replacement. Laser/Osborne tried to scam me into having them fit a new mixer, before even looking at the problem properly. As an offer to go our separate ways amicably, I offered to negotiate the amount (not that I should be paying anything for having mine/my tenant's time wasted). The have kept pressing. If it persists I will continue to detail the other substandard encounters in further reviews. I'm also considering bringing this company up, at AGM's, and with my Property Managers, for all of my affected properties at different complexes where I have had Laser/Osborne attend. I suggest that if you want to recover some lost revenue in this encounter, you take it from the unprofessional person that you had sent to my property.

   Really quick and efficient service. Plumber accessed house while I was at work, but called to let me know what he had done. Osborne Plumbing did exactly what they said they would and charged as they advised. My mum, who let them in and was there while job was completed estimated it took no more than 15min to tighten sink drain pipes and resolve leak. This cost $178.25 including GST. To be fair, I was aware that was what would be charged ... just seems steep for what turned out to be a small job.

   We had a major leak from a damaged pipe under the side of the driveway. We initially did not know where the leak was, so I called Osborne Plumbing and Gas Ltd to ask for a plumber to come and invesigate. They quickly established (over the phone) that the leak was likely under the driveway, and suggested as a first course of action I get leak detection to come and locate the leak. I did this, and sure enough the leak was found under the driveway. I rang back and said we had found a leak and the team booked Nate to come out to our place within a couple of hours. The job was quite complicated, but Nate was efficient, and demonstated excellent problem solving. He managed to get to the pipe without needing to cut into the driveway, saving us $1000's, and did the whole job in two hours. He also worked hard to get it done before we would start to incur overtime charges, which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend Nate and Osborne Plumbing to anyone else! Great service team!
