“Barbara Jenner's review above has confused two venues. She is criticising the large Torbay Community Hall which is owned by the TCA - Torbay Community Association. Torbay Theatre, an amateur theatre group, owns the small Gate Theatre which is attached to the Hall. I hope this clarifies things?”

“Went here for a Christmas party. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to be helpful. Food was Christmas dinner and who doesn't love Cooked Ham, Roast Beef with all the trimmings. There was veges and salad. Dessert was just as good. The room was festive and well laid out as th not feel squashed. Highly recommend this venue for functions.”

“We had such an amazing time on the fire truck! The team were able to secure us a booking with short notice, and were flexible with what we wanted. They communicated with us well and everything went off without a hitch! The experience on the bus was fantastic, drinks are well priced and yum. The sound system is fab and we were blasting our tunes the entire time. Such an awesome way to make an event special, or add some extra flair getting from A to B. We were so well looked after and our entire group were blown away with the quality of service and how easy everything was. Would highly reccomend! The price is totally worth it for all the fun you get!”

Its been absolutely great to see him growing confidence in speaking in front of others and being willing to share his ideas with others. He's been enjoying so much as it is also a lot of fun playing with friends together. it's a really great way to get kids involved with learning in social and individual ways.”

Greeted by friendly staff and taken straight to our table on a busy Saturday (we had booked and would probably recommend as was very busy) Companion had the kumara burger and it was delicious. I had the platter "for 2" which was phenomenal decent portion of each item and all were delicious. We then had desserts and they were very tasty. All the staff were very nice too. We ordered the buffalo wings (next time we'll go for the hot ones—these were mild but still tasty), shoestring fries, the pulled pork burger, and the beef brisket burger. Everything was fresh and satisfying, especially the burgers which were full of flavour. Special shoutout to Nelli for her fantastic service—she was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. We sat outside, which was perfect for a chill afternoon, watching the world go by. Definitely a spot we’d come back to for a relaxed meal and good vibes.”

The exchange process was so quick and smooth and it was a pleasant surprise for the manager, Ravi, to drive into the CBD to deliver the new gas lift to me when I wasn't able to go to Westgate in person due to work commitments. Amazing service and great customer care.”

“Love this gym . The instructors know what they are doing and are super keen to help if needed . The equipment range is slowly getting better too . It’s definitely an older persons gym , I would say majority are 40 plus . But all the members are respectful with the equipment, wipe everything down and put things away . There are lots of fantastic classes as well.”
