Heard Tim's interview on Nine to Noon on RNZ today and I wanted to write a thank you/ best wishes message. My now nearly 21 year old son participated in the youth theatre drama lessons at TAPAC from when he was in Year 3 to Year 11. I credit a big proportion of his ability to interact with ease and to engage both the young and the old, his self-esteem and critical thinking skills to Tim Bray Theatre Company. Though Iβm a bit saddened to hear that this opportunity wonβt be available to the young ones from next year, I totally support your reason to end this fantastic journey of over three decades. You leave a mighty legacy Tim and there are many parents like us who are extremely grateful to you for all that you have done for our children. Wishing you the very best Tim and the rest of the Tim Bray family. Take Care.

My ten year old grandson has been very fortunate to attend Tim Bray's Extraordinarily Creative drama classes. I have seen him flourish and grow in confidence from being part of this wonderful group and community which is deeply committed to supporting diversity. It has made a huge difference to his life on so many levels and he has felt safe and valued for his participation, contribution and the unique qualities he brings to the group. He has always been able to create, play innovate and derive magic and joy from his wonderful facilitators, peers and friends in his class and will experience the rich benefit of this for years to come. He has also relished attending Tim Bray's theatre experiences each term, and I cannot thank you enough for opening up his world to all he could imagine and be, with such a sense of creativity, fun, trust and safety, imagination, exploration and celebration.

Tim Bray's "The Whale Rider" was an absolute delight to watch and we got a lot more than we bargained for! We simply loved how puppetry was incorporated and how the actors worked them with such ease. The stage settings, the music and choir, was all top notch and the icing on the cake for us was getting to hear author Witi Ihimaera speak!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for creating a sensory relaxed session for the lion in the meadow show. My 17 Y/O brother has severe autism and often canβt sit still so it is so stressful taking him to any type of show as he always gets told off for standing up and jumping around. We loved the show so much and I know he did too as it was so relaxing and easy for him as he could just be himself.

My young daughterβs first theatre experiences! She was spellbound each time she has attended, both times before she could even walk. While the kids most definitely loved the performances there is a lot for the adults to enjoy also! The acting is superb and the sets very clever. I love the fact that provision is made for special needs children and I purchased gift seats on behalf of my family for Xmas presents. I look forward to more performances!

My 6 year old son has attended Tim Bray Youth Theatre for 18 months. The class is the highlight of his week. The class tutors are excellent. The classes are great because they encourage freedom of expression but they also require the children to be reflective and disciplined yet they always have fun. Learning scripts is good for the child's memory. Another advantage of the class is that the child's self confidence is given a boost when they find the courage to stand up on stage and perform in front of an audience. My son was given the wonderful opportunity of playing an Elf in the Tim Bray Christmas Production of "The Santa Claus Show" at the Pumphouse Theatre .This was a once in a lifetime experience and he has learnt so much about every aspect of putting on a stage show. I would highly recommend the classes for children who need to build self confidence and for children who already have plenty!

my son has been on Youth Theatre classes run by Tim Bray Productions. Its been absolutely great to see him growing confidence in speaking in front of others and being willing to share his ideas with others. He's been enjoying so much as it is also a lot of fun playing with friends together. it's a really great way to get kids involved with learning in social and individual ways.
