“visited Flame Pizza on Saturday for lunch and tried their burgers along with some sides, including pizza garlic bread. The burgers were incredibly well-made, fresh, and so tasty — truly impressive! The garlic bread was also delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they really made my day with their great service. I genuinely appreciate the effort they put into the food and customer service. Highly recommended! I’ll definitely be visiting again.”

They definitely deserve all the prizes they’ve won for their pizza! I’m more of a pasta gal, but my husband was on pizza induced cloud nine. Probably the most authentic Italian food we’ve had since moving to New Zealand!”

“Had dinner at Portofino Takapuna, an authentic Italian restaurant by the beach. I ordered the Prosciutto Pizza and Seafood Risotto—both were absolutely amazing. The pizza was perfectly baked with a thin, crispy base and generous toppings, while the risotto was rich, creamy, and full of fresh seafood flavours. A truly delightful dining experience that captures the taste of Italy right here in Takapuna. Highly recommended!”

The desserts looked amazing, but we did not try it as we were full with the generous portions of the main dish. Extra spice could be asked :) The staff is very friendly! “Generous toppings, and the flavors were delicious. We bought 2 pizzas, one with a gluten free base. My gf was the best pizza I've ever had, and hubby said the same about his wheat-based one. Pic is of my gf apricot chicken pizza. Hubby also said the chips were excellent too. These are, unfortunately, not gf.”

The best chicken fettuccine & seafood fettuccine we’ve ever had. The sauce is quite unique, not like others we’ve had which we love.
