“Popped in for dinner after the Allblacks game and were rewarded with exceptional service and a wonderful meal. I love to slow cook so I ordered the beef cheek , WOW… I was not disappointed it was beautifully cooked and the flavours were wonderful. There is a big screen here which has me thinking I may book dinner for the next game. Looking forward to returning and sampling some more things on the menu. Highly recommend!”

The view out over the Waitākere Ranges was beautiful, despite the overcast evening. It was unfortunate that we were unable to have our preferred and reserved outdoor seating, due to the verandah being inaccessible for wheelchairs.”

“We recently went to Goodie Brothers in Botany and had such a great time that it deserves a proper shout-out. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and lively, with a nice mix of modern décor and a relaxed, casual vibe that makes you want to stay a while. We started with the margarita pizza, which came out with a beautiful golden crust that had the perfect crunch on the outside and a soft, chewy bite inside. The tomato sauce tasted fresh and vibrant, and the mozzarella was melted evenly across the base with just the right balance of cheese and herbs so it wasn’t too heavy but still full of flavor. The fettuccine pasta followed and was just as impressive, with perfectly cooked al dente noodles coated in a creamy, well-seasoned sauce that felt indulgent without being overly rich, and the portion size was generous enough to share or enjoy on its own as a main. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the tiramisu, which ended up being one of the highlights of the night — light, airy layers of sponge soaked with just enough coffee, topped with creamy mascarpone and a dusting of cocoa that tied everything together beautifully. Alongside all this, we had a few drinks that were made well and complemented the food nicely, and throughout the evening the staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care that everyone was enjoying themselves. It’s clear the team takes pride in both their food and service, which really makes a difference. Goodie Brothers feels like the kind of place where you can go for a casual catch-up with friends, a relaxed date night, or even just to treat yourself to a good meal, and leave satisfied every time. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spot in Botany with great food, good drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.”

“This was our first time visiting this pizza place after seeing some good reviews. We ordered the Chicken Slingy Pizza and the Spicy Lamb Pizza. I can definitely confirm this is one of the best pizza places on this side of Auckland. I've tried all the pizza shops in the area and this is definitely the best with regards to taste, quality and value for money. They also provide great customer service with friendly staff who were always smiling. We will definitely be going back there. Thank you, It's Pizza Time!”

“Had a Christmas dinner with work mates last night and it was fabulous. The kai was great, starting with a generous entree and pizza plus generous mains and desserts. We had takeaway containers as we couldn’t finish everything. And the service was excellent, the whole team pitched in - it was a busy night. The restaurant was jam packed but that didn’t seem to phase the waiting team at all. Congratulations on a very busy but wonderful environment, service and kai!”

“After hearing about the unique flavors at Galaxy Pizza, I decided to visit and try it for myself. As someone who is quite particular when it comes to food, I must admit I was thoroughly impressed by the delicious pizzas. The flavors are truly one-of-a-kind, and the ingredients are spot on. With a wide variety of options, there’s something to suit every taste. As a fan of spicy food, I especially enjoyed the Tandoori and Supernova pizzas, as well as the Supernova fries. To top it off, the staff were incredibly friendly, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend Galaxy Pizza to all pizza lovers!”

“Family wanted pizza for dinner. We tried the Pizzeria tonight for the first time. 3 ordered: Mr Wolf Pizza; Pizza el Pollo; and Margarita pizzas. All of the pizzas were beautifully presented, light crispy base, and all flavours were delicious. Quality pizza, leagues above dominoes, would recommend and will definitely be going there on a regular basis”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! A few years ago I was pregnant,tired and incredibly hungry and all the restaurants were actually closing their doors, including vino. My poor husband ran up just as you were closing the doors and asked if you had anything spare he could buy for me quickly. Without hesitation you actually turned your ovens back on,chatted to my husband about life,and made me a double portion of pasta FREE of charge and said it was a gift for us and our first baby. I genuinely cried at how generous you were to a total stranger. Don’t know if you remember this at all,but it’s always stuck with us! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.”

“I'm giving Portofino 5 stars all around as we absolutely loved the food, service, and atmosphere during our holiday in New Zealand. It was so good that we visited them again before we left...twice in one week for dinner! I definitely recommend dining at Portofino. All of the food we ordered were great from the Lasagna Al Forno, Fettuccine Di Pollon, Vegetarian Fettuccine Vegetarian, Cannelloni Casanostra. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even offered and opened the window and had fresh air while enjoying our meals. We forgot to take pictures of our food the first time we dined in...that's how great it was! “I love this place!!! It may be on a main road but the atmosphere inside the courtyard walls is beautiful…. a feel of Italy. We were greeted warmly and found a lovely seat in the sun where we thoroughly enjoyed the coffee and delicious food brought to us. I ordered the beef burger without buns and my son had the fish salad… both were spot on! I can’t wait to come back on an evening and enjoy the courtyard, with the festoon lights and a glass of wine with another Del meal!”

“Holy!!!! A coast hidden gem!! Went for dinner, started with the cheese and garlic bread, must be home made dough because I could not get enough of it, then had the tarragon chicken, I’ve been dreaming about it ever since, absolutely mouth watering. staff were absolutely amazing, the smiles they give, you cannot help to smile. Decided to come back to try their breakfast today and what can’t they do, coffee 10/10 and I had the smashed avocado, would go back every morning if I could. If I could give it 10 stars I would!!!!”

“Farro has the freshest and best quality veges, and at times it's cheaper than the supermarket. They stock many specialist products like duck and steamed buns..... The wine selection is very good, and I prefer their rose selection to supermarkets. The store has a farmers market, community feel. They offer fresh rolls, salads and coffee. I only buy deli meats from here as the quality is better than supermarket brands. Staff are friendly and helpful.”

“Absolutely delicious pasta! This Italian restaurant serves incredibly authentic dishes — the flavours are rich and spot on. The pasta was one of the best I’ve ever had. The environment is lovely, and the background music adds a great vibe to the whole dining experience. Also, the chicken cutlet was huge and perfectly cooked!
