“I ordered two number twos and an extra $2 chips, the food portion was good, the chips were nice and salty and the although my cheese burger had no cheese it was really nice. The burger wasn’t dry at all it was actually a nice burger. (I don’t have any pictures to upload cause I already ate all the food lol)”
“This place has really picked up its game since the last owner. A variety of grocery items also installed a vege rack showcasing fresh veges and fruits. A vape shop alongside it and good customer service. A place to buy stuff before you hit the motoway”
“Not sure why the Google rating is so low because the food is great. You get what you pay for. If you’re aiming for high end service and a prime location, this isn’t the place. But if you want a cheap, tasty and quick meal, this is the spot.”
“3 big scoops of chip for $5, deep fried chicken nibbles, unbelievably crunchy, big size fish!”
“Absolutely exquisite. I was apprehensive at first after reading a couple of reviews here. The truth is, this place is the epitome of aroha in the food. Such fresh, delicious and made with love. I will come back time and time again for this level of care taken. Thank for the delicious Beetroot Salad, Tabouleh and Lamb salad. Amazing!”
“FB messaged them for details quick response. Ordered over messenger. Picked up at 1pm. Lovely lady had the food ready to go. The samosas come with 3 different fillings: beef, potato & corn n cheese. We got the beef samosas & the potato ones. Both were fresh, perfect ratio of filling to pastry & perfect spice level. My partner who is kiwi found it right for his spice level. The bunny chow had so much meat in it & the gravy was perfectly soaked in the bread. The gravy was so flavorful & it’s the best I’ve had. My partner loved his masala steak shawarma too. He did have to add some yoghurt as it was a teensy bit too spicy for him. They do contactless pickup. Order before you go as they are super busy. Definitely will be back”
“The food was authentic and delicious. Being raised in a border town in Arizona gives me a bit of an edge when seeking out great Mexican food. I was on a business trip and stumbled on this gem. The birria quesadilla and tacos were simply outstanding. The service was fast and friendly. You won’t be disappointed. If you like it hot ask for the salsa picante! Muchas Gracias Mr. Taco!! Ramon”
“Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience at the food trucks that were around and this one also. I love the puris . The food was lovely and staff friendly .”
“A little hidden gem. Wasn't sure what to get, so it was recommended that the Tom Yum Soup with seafood was good by the friendly staff. The food came out quick and did not disappoint. Will definitely be back.”
“Came in with the family for the Sunday roast. Service was good the atmosphere was chill and the food hit the spot! Loved it all”
“I first came across this kebab shop when I was staying close by in the area and ordered a chicken kebab on rice. It was so great that I have had it several times since and every time it is consistent. The meat is favoured really well, the sauces are good hot chilli sauce it hot but doesn’t build in heat). The salads are prepared with care and are thinly shredded. The hummus is smooth and creamy. The people are very friendly. Thank you for another amazing experience! :)”
“Fabulous dinner :) We came for a meal before a show at the Q theatre, and enjoyed the best burgers in town! Great presentation, flavour and price, thanks so much!”
“Went to see the Auckland Museum with family and this was the second time visiting the cafe. Amazing food absolutely loved the Mediterranean pizza. The atmosphere was hood and Nathan - the guy serving us was absolutely amazing.”
“The butter chicken was very nice. Naan was fresh cooked. Awesome customer service.”
“Extremely cozy coffee shop with ample seating, setting a cozy vibe. Coffee is delicious. Pricing is very fair. I have bought the coffee beans to have at home as I found them to be that nice and will be my regular brew. Good assortments of snack items. Very well done and put together shop.”
“My first time at EOS Coffee in Britomart. The café is pretty busy, but once I tried the coffee, it was totally worth it really good. Definitely coming back.”
“I had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional Japanese restaurant in Auckland, and I can confidently say it was one of the most authentic and memorable Japanese meals I’ve had outside of Japan. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the quiet elegance of the space, which set the tone for an outstanding dining experience. The quality of the food was truly top-notch – every dish was beautifully presented, expertly prepared, and rich in flavour. You could taste the care and precision in each bite, from the freshness of the sashimi to the perfectly balanced broths and delicately seasoned vegetables. It’s clear that the chefs are deeply committed to traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients. What stood out just as much as the cuisine was the service. The staff were courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind – attentive without being intrusive, and always ready to explain a dish or recommend a pairing. Their hospitality added a personal, thoughtful touch to the meal, making it feel not just like a dinner, but an experience. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese cuisine in Auckland, this place is a hidden gem.”
“After not finding much success at other gym’s in the area I happened to stumble across NZ Iron Strength. The equipment is high quality and great variety. The staff and insanely friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend NZ Iron Strength to anyone in the area looking to train!”
“Everytimeq when I visit here always feels like home, friendly hospitality, great toasted sandwich and coffee. highly recommend.”
“A wonderful team of professionals who have looked after my family and I for many years. My daughter has a severe needle phobia and Sam was amazing in creating a calm, reassuring environment especially for her to be vaccinated in recently. The whole team are friendly, professional and very knowledgeable - an invaluable local resource.”
“The best kept secret in Auckland. They are currently making unbeatable birria tacos and other mexican kai. Be sure to check what hours they are selling them as it may fluctuate Also worth getting some supplies for home too”
“I am a pizza reviewer from Vancouver, BC. Good dough, nice salt level. Crust is crusty, dough has been fermented and rested. Shape is held when folded. Sauce is very good. 5/5 Margherita pizza. Pasta alle vongole was also very good! Perfect spice level. 5/5. I would visit again :)”
“Most delicious pizza’s we ever had.love the ambience, love the taste.”
“Mark served us at the front counter – absolute legend. Super friendly and made the experience even better. The food was great as always. Definitely coming back more often! Point Chev Burger Fuel!”
“The service is very warm, like a little sun. There are many Taiwanese specialty foods. Some famous Taiwanese products and locally made Taiwanese delicacies need to be reserved for group purchase. Financial intelligence + emotional intelligence = getting rich, I hope the business will be prosperous”
“One of the best meals I had lately. Delicious, authentic, fresh and great portion size”
“A small but beautiful shop. The handsome owner looks young, but he has more than ten years of experience as a barista. We came here to see what the differences are between different shops using Kokako because we were curious about an organic coffee brand called Kokako. Better me's coffee is very memorable. They understand coffee and are serious about making it. There are some simple meals, and they taste pretty good. Ube cookies are very interesting.”
“The two indian brothers that run this place are very attentive and professional, and service is top-notch. I've been a few times and rate it as one of the best Indian cuisine (& Thai fusion mix) curry houses on the north shore. Food is outstanding, has a very tasty and subtle blend of spice and melt-in-your mouth meat and crisp veg, and is now our favorite place to relax and have a kingfisher on tap. There is also another place upstairs, above them thats always quite busy, which I don't rate at all. Right next to the sea, good for a walk off them superb and delicious calories afterward.”
“Best kept secret. We were looking around for a place to eat and came upon this place. Best Tom yum in town and their pork chop with rice was great too. Price is surprisingly cheap. Will surely come back when we’re in the area.”
“I had heard a lot about Lucky Gs and their reputation as the best burger spot in New Zealand, so my wife and I decided to check it out. It's located near Kelston Mall, and there was plenty of street parking available, so we had no trouble finding a spot. It was Sunday afternoon, and the place was buzzing with people dining in and grabbing takeaways. The interior looked amazing. Lots of cool decorations and photos that gave the place a great vibe. The staff were super friendly and enjoyed what they did, which made the atmosphere even livelier. As for the burgers, they lived up to the hype. My wife had the Little G - a tasty, smaller burger that wasn’t too juicy but still really flavourful. I went for the burger with jalapeños and loved the spicy kick. We added a combo for $7, and the potato chips were perfectly cooked. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and can't wait to come back and try more of their burgers!”
