I ordered the Tamil Nadu–style chicken curry with butter naan, and it was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavor and perfectly cooked. But what truly made my visit special was the kindness and humility of the manager. When I was about to leave, it started raining heavily. Seeing that, he kindly offered to drop me wherever I needed to go. Even when I said I would wait outside, he came again and genuinely insisted on giving me a ride in his car. It’s rare to find such good food paired with such a good-hearted person. The manager’s care and hospitality made me feel truly valued as a guest. I highly recommend Spice Avenue to anyone looking not just for a great meal, but also a warm and memorable experience.”

“The two indian brothers that run this place are very attentive and professional, and service is top-notch. I've been a few times and rate it as one of the best Indian cuisine (& Thai fusion mix) curry houses on the north shore. Food is outstanding, has a very tasty and subtle blend of spice and melt-in-your mouth meat and crisp veg, and is now our favorite place to relax and have a kingfisher on tap. There is also another place upstairs, above them thats always quite busy, which I don't rate at all. Right next to the sea, good for a walk off them superb and delicious calories afterward.”

“I was pleasantly surprised to find a highly-rated Thai restaurant nearby on Google. Though the restaurant is quite small, it's exceptionally clean. We ordered pad Thai, fried squid, and green curry - all of which were absolutely delicious. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. “I am a pizza reviewer from Vancouver, BC. Good dough, nice salt level. Crust is crusty, dough has been fermented and rested. Shape is held when folded. Sauce is very good. 5/5 Margherita pizza. Pasta alle vongole was also very good! Perfect spice level. 5/5. I would visit again :)”

“happened to stumble across this place on my walk home with the dog... ofcourse i forgot my wallet, the next 30 minutes back home were filled with thoughts of the tacos i happened to smell on my way past... ended up driving back to get some as the allure was far to great, Now let me tell you these tacos were worth every cent and minute of thought about them, packed full of flavorsome brisket i was in for a treat for lunch today 10/10 on the brisket tacos will be back to try the other flavors soon! the home made brookie (brownie base and cookie top) was absolute next level afterwards too! haven't got round to the strawberry crumble cookie she gave me to try yet but if everything else is to go by im gonna be sad when its finished! 10/10 westies get in there! edit: completely forgot to mention the OUTSTANDING service! great banter and run by such a lovely lady! we are lucky to have you out west this week :)”
