Got chicken Pad Thai for $19 - great portion but the taste isn’t quite there. Usually a Pad Thai has sweet and savoury flavour with bit of tang. This one is just savoury and borderline bland. Sweet and tang is missing. If you like that, go for it. It wasn’t for me
Just ordered Pad See from uber eats and the quantity was half of what we get from it we order from them directly. It should have mentioned in uber eats. On top of it it was salty . I have also added a photo of the food that you get if you order directly from them be aware by ordering from Uber
Highly recommend! I have been here twice recently and I have really enjoyed it. The first time I got a Thai beef salad (take away)and it was really yum, my only comment would be that this is a dish that is served hot which I wasn’t expecting as I have had cold Thai salads in the past, this is just my experience and not something I have personally come across but it was flavourful and delicious and I would order it again - more of a stir fry with rice in my opinion. The chicken drunken noodles are great, so flavourful and the portion size was spot on. The restaurant is located in a small food court and it was a nice spot to sit quietly for a break away from the office.
A little hidden gem. Wasn't sure what to get, so it was recommended that the Tom Yum Soup with seafood was good by the friendly staff. The food came out quick and did not disappoint. Will definitely be back.
I visited this place 2nd time, 1st time the experience wasn’t good in terms of quantity. Today, I had cashew fried noodles and was totally satisfied with the food, loved the taste and quantity was good too. Enjoyed my meal. The lady on the counter is really sweet.
Unhappy with the quantity,I ordered takeaway stir fried dish with Tofu.There were total 3 small pieces of tofu, little veggies and rice and I paid 18.50 for it, it felt like I was eating a mini bowl of what I ordered. Disappointed!!!
One of the best thai places in Auckland! Highly recommended authentic thai food - great price, flavor and taste. located on Albert St so no parking outside it but plenty of car parks around. A+++
At first, I thought this Thai takeaway is still around because they were good. But NO, I was wrong, I think the reason why they're still around is because they're a rip off. I ordered this chicken soup for $17 (though online it shows $15.90) and was expecting that it would be at least somewhat good. I was so shocked with the amount of chicken — 9 thinly sliced chicken and the size was just as big as half of my thumb. I understand that sustaining a business with all the inflation and economic issue is hard, that most of the places have had increased their prices to compensate. But man if you will put up your prices at least have the dignity to higher your food standards if not maintaining it. This is a place that I will never ever recommend to anyone because aside from the price point the flavour of the food wasn't even that good either. I literally had to put too much sauce in every bite just for it to have a taste. I would give them negative 5 stars on this review if I could.
It is a very nice place to try good Thai food. The portion of the Tom Yum soup which I ordered was very delicious, hot and large so I didn't manage to finish it. The place is underestimated, I recommend it)
