Indy is a pleasure to know and experience and the Sri Lankan styled food and themed restaurant was by far the best Indian food I’ve had in my life. I can’t wait to go back for more of this.

Maybe the most authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in NZ. Took us right back to being in Lanka. Indy's got plenty of talent showcased by an impressive CV working in Auckland's top restaurants. Glad he's following his passion and representing SL cuisine so well. Some highlights to try are the devilled squid, mutton rolls and seafood kothu. Mostly a takeaway spot but there is a small table to sit down and eat there if you need.
Lovely chef owner. Small menu as per picture and pretty brief opening hours and popular with good reason. The Aubergine curry was melt in the mouth with good portion size - we were all stuffed. The potato side dish was excellent just be aware that Bonito flakes will be added so if vegetarian or vegan be sure to point this out which he will check anyway. The egg rotti went down well with our friends. Small area for 4 people to sit in and food served in metal dishes. Medium hot will still be hot.
Stopped in for some takeout this evening and was very impressed. We got the lamb and seafood kottu rotis, and the chicken curry. All were fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend and will be back next time staying overnight on the island.
First time trying Indy's and it was very tasty. Fantastic complexity and depth of spice and flavours. We had the Chicken Kottu, spiced potatoes and fish curry. All were delicious. Thanks Indy, we'll be back!
Incredible food, what a spice palet! Indy and his staff always super friendly and welcoming, and happy to be serving great food. Just delicious, couldn't recommend more
Spicy potatoes is beautiful! Potatoes is fluffy mixed well balanced with spice, cost $10. Great value food.
Found this place randomly on Maps and given all of the good reviews, we wanted to try it out. We were very happy that we did! They only do take-away, but they were kind enough to let us eat at the counter. The fried chicken was juicy and the curry was really tasty and lighter than most curries. It’s not made with ghee, so it doesn’t make you feel too full. But the best thing we ate was the kotta! I highly recommend it! The owners were very kind and welcoming!
