   Very simple authentic Mexican dishes, very cheap. Nothing over the top. Owner was very attentive and friendly. Don't be shy ordering, it's so cheap you can try tonnes of dishes especially if you're sharing with another person.

   The food was authentic and delicious. Being raised in a border town in Arizona gives me a bit of an edge when seeking out great Mexican food. I was on a business trip and stumbled on this gem. The birria quesadilla and tacos were simply outstanding. The service was fast and friendly. You won’t be disappointed. If you like it hot ask for the salsa picante! Muchas Gracias Mr. Taco!! Ramon

   All I wanted was a fresh Taco while in Auckland and I got exactly that with the most friendliest and humble service. Both myself and my partner came across Mr Tacos and decided to pop in for a quick bite to eat. We ordered 2 beef and 1 chicken tacos, fresh and delicious. Then after talking to the owner we also got a plate of birria tacos, consomme, fresh guac and salsa..... So impressed. If i stayed in Auckland longer I think I would of knocked out the whole menu. Thank you so much for the beautiful Kai, warm friendly service.... Come and set up a shop in Christchurch we need yous haha. Nga Mihinui Jazz

   My son came across this little eatery by accident. It's probably the best kept secret in Auckland. If you are into Mexican food, you got to try this place. The food is amazing and authentic. The owner is fun to talk to. Overall restaurant atmosphere is funky and my son love it. Recommended to all foodies to give it a try!

   His food took me on a journey with every bite. Almost brings a tear to your eye once you have a bite knowing how amazingly everything is cooked and put together you can really taste the passion in each bite. The atmosphere in the place is amazing with great music. This must have magical experience I cannot express in words how amazing the food and experience was. Came twice in same weekend and will be a must stop everything I come to Auckland. Thanks my friends and I hope your business prospers for decades to come. You are legend.

   The tacos were really delicious here and being able to get three different flavours in one order is a definitely a plus. The staff were kind. My only gripe would be the same as many other reviews: the tacos are quite smaller than I expected. Three won't really fill you up at all - but they are tasty.
