“This is a small little tea bar in the northwest mall just at the entrance. It's really gorgeous. The decor is stunning and service is nice. There is a huge range of tea and snacks. However the best tea is cinnamon and vanilla green tea. The prices are really good as well. Tea cups and teapots are fascinating. Definitely worth trying for all tea lovers !”

“Wow what an amazing place! First time in the staff Greeted me with a welcoming G'day. Unfortunately I'm gluten free (celiac) However this wasn't a problem as they had a few different opinions. The Kebab came out before I could sit down, To say the service was outstanding is an understatement. My first bite left me wondering if I should get up & order a second (the portion to price was definitely correct) it was absolutely delicious. “Have been here several times for lunch and dinner. The restaurant was pleasantly decorated. Sitting was comfortable. Service was good but you need to be able to speak Mandarin too. Otherwise just look at the menu and point to the dishes you want to order. It's not an obstruction for you to visit this place for a meal. The food was good. Service was friendly. All of us liked all the dishes that we have ordered. Will definitely going back for another meal.”

“One of my fave Chinese Restaurants. The manger has the best service. The food is delicious. Except some dishes’ portions a little bit small for the price. The price is a little expensive but definitely worth. Black Pepper Diced Beef with Pleurotus Erygnii and Yeung Chow Fried Rice are my favourite. Kimchi is their recent new dish. It has cabbage, apple, orange and ginger. Very refreshing as an appetiser. The interior is very nice too.”

“Had a wonderful meal here at Joyful Chinese Restaurant. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service, and the dining area is well kept and comfortable. The menu had a large range of choice and we found the food to be authentic and really tasty. In particular, our vegetable dishes were superb, perfectly cooked, not oily, nicely seasoned and beautifully presented. The restaurant has been going for 27 years. It was really great to talk with the owners, who are friendly and take great pride in their service to customers and the food they serve. I recommend the tasty food at Joyful Chinese Restaurant.”

“What a great experience, really good quality, fresh, tasty food. I couldn’t fault anything, recommendations from the waitress were perfect. I would never have normally ordered Nacho’s,l but she recommended, they were so good and different to the normal ‘kiwi’ version. Everything (we got a lot of different food) was easily able to be shared by 4 or could have ordered our own if wanted to. Overall was $60 each, for lots of meals (with food left over) and 2 or 3 drinks each. It was easily good value for money. Atmosphere is good also, we had a booked table waiting but otherwise was packed. I’d recommend booking as was consistently popular throughout the time we were there.”

“We went to The Taste of China for dinner with friends, and the food was the best I have ever had. I had the Braised Beef Brisket with Potatoes and Rice that came with complimentary chicken soup. The beef was so delicious, soft, and fatty, which made it super flavorful. The potatoes were delicious as well, and I will definitely be coming back for more. The only thing I will say is that although I ordered at the same time as my friend and had a very similar dish in terms of ingredients and size, mine still arrived more than 15 minutes after theirs did, which was slightly annoying as we were pressed for time. The meal I chose was $21, which is more than I would normally spend, but I got so much meat that it felt like it was really worth the price. So other than the long wait for food, this is a great place and I now have a new favorite meal!”

“Just yumm! Their special butter chicken with garlic nan is a must try. One portion rice is complimentary. The lady that manage the restaurant is a rockstar! I visited on last night of my Auckland trip and cursed myself for not discovering this before. Quantity and taste was better than most restaurants here in India. Kudos!”
