The smorgasbord is great- (my new favourite actually), however the fish and chips were not so good.
Had a $15 takeaway plastic box on the buffet type ting and after having a little bit of everything on the buffet type ting, I now wish I bought a $20 box instead. Everything on the buffet type ting was full of flavour and tasted very authentic. 10/10 would eat more of everything on the buffet type ting when I go here again
Got my beef chow mein home and for $22.00 NO NO NO couple pieces of beef more veges than anything!! Jeepers please do not insult me would have cooked it myself...flavours great but missing so much...so gone from bad to worse... Don't care bout you Karen's I know my food... Your traditional Chinese takeaways but a lot more cleaner at their new premises. The family special for $65 1x fried rice, 1x sweet and sour pork, 1x chicken chow mein and 3 wontons are perfect for our family of 4. Could even do 5 if need be. Flavour is so good and genuine Chinese takeaway flavours. I have seen a smorgasbord when collecting my order, haven’t tried personally but they have one. Wait time of 15min always good . I alway phone order ahead and then swing by and collect
Roast meat was so dry. Over priced too. Such a let down
Great Food BUT they do not do single portions. If 2 of you want different items it is going to cost $50+ and a lot of waste. Good food but should really offer single portions. Would use them a lot more but cannot justify the amount of wasted food.
Very expensive at $85 , 4 dishes ( sweet & sour pork, 2 x won ton soups and egg fu Yung ). The egg fu Yung was good and not a bad size, the won ton soup was also not bad sized but not particularly flavour filled, the broth seemed to have little taste although the wontons were ok. The sweet & sour pork was rubbish, a half filled container and the pork was hard and seemed to barely have any pork in it. I buy the same thing from my regular Chinese shop in Waimauku and it costs $15 less, has massive servings and generally better tasting. I probably wouldn’t buy here again.
3 dishes for $75 and they were all 80-90% noodles so felt ripped off. The noodles were just so greasy and salty tasted horrible, must have binned 2 3rd's of purchase. I won't be back.
