   It’s noisy, but the buzz of a shopping mall usually is. Tea in a pot with a pretty cup n saucer is always promising. Staff are efficient but not super hospitable. Various seating options are nice. It’s a handy option.

   Stopped here for a good cup of their specialty tea. But they completely undervalue the exact customer demographic they’re trying to attract when it appears I took too long to choose my drink, the cashier preferring to give her attention and preferential treatment to the impatient, eye-rolling, takeaway-grabbing guy behind me.

   Convenient location right in the middle of the mall to have a break and wait for someone to shop, get a haircut or arrive at the mall etc. Service is minimal, attention to detail lacking. Serving spilled coffee and hard white chocolate still unmixed and solid at the bottom of the cup. Pastries average quality, coffee decent but not outstanding but expected of a small coffee bar in the middle of the mall. Cup sizes very large for Auckland standards but understandable as its customers are more often than not the elderly that prefers diluted coffee but the smallest is still at least a double shot by default.

   Had cinnamon brioche , chocolate cronut, chilli hot chocolate and flat white. To start chilli hot chocolate was on the point , bitter and chocolaty. Flat white was decent. From then on downhill starts , cinnamon brioche was too dry even cronut too, it was nearly impossible to cut through, taste was also not so great.

   Hot drinks are on point, the hot chocolates are especially delicious! I was however highly disappointed with my choice of food... If your feeling even slightly hungry do not choose the Waffle breakfast, for that price I left feeling hungry and ripped off. $17 for an overcooked waffle, two stripes of half decent bacon and a peeled banana on the side, not even grilled or anything, hardly worth the price. My partner on the other hand had an exceptional Chicken, Bacon and Avocado stack made with fresh ingredients, left me with serious food envy! If your planning to eat here perhaps try the stack and steer clear of the Waffle breakfast!

   This is a small little tea bar in the northwest mall just at the entrance. It's really gorgeous. The decor is stunning and service is nice. There is a huge range of tea and snacks. However the best tea is cinnamon and vanilla green tea. The prices are really good as well. Tea cups and teapots are fascinating. Definitely worth trying for all tea lovers !
