It is such a great spot for affordable and delicious Chinese food! Their $9.90 lunch box is amazing value — you get four generous dishes, all fresh, flavourful, and cooked with real home-style taste. M Highly recommend if you want a tasty and budget meal!
Really great lunch box deal, still only $9.90. Plenty of variety and a big portion too. Will definitely be back. Great flavors, crispy breading and the veg had plenty of crunch.
Super affordable for the quality and quantity. $9.90 rice bento box for 2 meats, 2 vegetable options. You don't get to choose - it's a fixed box that changes every day. Friendly staff. The music is kinda loud, though. A lot of orders and people are coming in and out, but the number of people dining in isn't much.

$9.90. Let that sink in for a moment. With such a incredible price point, this establishment checks all of the boxes for dishing out some amazing food at this price point. Amazing mix and portions of meat, vegetables and rice which is punching way above its value. I personally think it's almost impossible to have so much value compared to a home cooked meal. While I haven't been to many $9.90 establishments, I can say that so far, Smart Kitchen has the most in depth and complex flavours. Overall, highly recommend cheap eats lunch box in Albany. Great value and great flavours to make a dent in the saturated $9.90 market.
A tiny restaurant with delicious food. Go there if you are just with one or two friends and want to have some awesome Chinese family-style dishes.
Pretty delicious food in an unexpected spot. All the dishes we ordered were very authentic with tonnes of flavour. Super good value for money. The female staff member who served us was very polite and helpful. Don't be put off by the semi-industrial location - definitely one of the more hidden gems in Albany.
The food is good, while the service of the waitress is stunningly disgusting. I just don't understand where is this arrogance coming from. I assume this is just some emptiness like at her age that cannot avoid? My sympathy goes to the chef whom i had a very good talk with, sorry that you got stuck with her and suffer this unbearable foolishness.
