Kang Chon is my go-to Korean-Chinese spot in Auckland. I've tried almost every dish here, and you can't go wrong with any of them! My favorite dish is 양장피 (Yangjangpi) – the fresh veggies combined with the hot pan-fried meat make an amazing combination. Highly recommend!

This place is our usual go-to restaurant. The food is always delicious and well-presented. Their signature dish, Samsun Jjamppong, is a must-try. It’s not too spicy and is full of flavor. The staff is friendly and kind.

Kangchon is my go-to spot for satisfying hunger pangs with its perfectly balanced flavours. Unlike other places that can be overly salty, Kangchon's dishes hit the sweet spot every time. My top picks include the Tangshyuk (a delightful blend of sweet and sour pork), Kkanpunggin (the crispy chicken in a mildly spicy sauce) and Samseon jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup). Kids adore the Jjajangmyeon with its rich black bean sauce and the flavourful Bokkubap (fried rice). Kangchon offers a culinary journey that caters to all tastes, making it a must-visit for food lovers.

Second timing eating here. First time was take away and it was so good I had to visit again. The prawn fried rice with black bean sauce is a must try. The fried rice and egg is made extremely well and the sauce brings it all together. The spicy soup that comes with the food is also really yummy. Definitely will come back again!

Amazing Samseong Jjampong! The serving size is generous, and has lots of seafood and fresh veges. The noodles themselves are made from scratch on-site, too!

Authentic Korean style Chinese black bean noodle. Yum

Taste: 7.3/10 Decent korean style chinese food overall. Friendly staff who was caring with her service. Black bean noodles and seafood soup broth could be a bit more flavourful but fried shared dishes have a great sauce and the meat used is very fresh with suitable amount of pre-seasoning. Price was reasonable, wouldn’t say it’s over priced or underpriced.

We come here often for great meal at very reasonable prices. Kkangunggi and Jajangmyeon are the best in Auckland. Also try Samseon ganjajang. The owner must be Lego enthusiasts (you will see what I mean when you get there)

Taste like mum’s noodle soup. A big bowl, yummy and warm. Feeling love conveyed from whoever who made the noodle. Missing home now.
