As nice as Noodle Canteen but a little cheaper. Food and menu is about the same as other places. People are nice and friendly. Food tastes good and portion size is excellent- could easily leave some for lunch the next day.
Chicken nibbles are delicious as always. We haven't been here in a while. Overall quite disappointing. Avoid sweet n sour pork like the plague. It's awful. Overcooked, hard, doesn't taste fresh. Chicken fried rice was bland.
Food is ok, a little bland and overpriced now. $18 for a main or two for $32, typical Chinese food set for New Zealand, no spice or heat
Saw some reviews going on about salt. Each to their own I guess. I thought everything tasted pretty good. Good value for money too! My only complaint would be the black bean beef wasn’t as “black-beany” as other places I’ve been. Still fine though. If you’re in the mood for some decent Asian food this is honestly a safe choice. There’s also options for fish and chip meals too.
New to Glendene area. Googled fish and chips. Tried this place out based on reviews. Bought the 2 choices for 30bucks tray and some chips. Massive portion of chicken in the chicken fried rice we ordered. Chips were perfect. Haven't tried anything else on the menu but first impressions last. Will be back to try other menu items
