Children's space in Auckland

“Attended a wedding reception at Markovina Vineyard Estate in late autumn. Although there was a bit of drizzle, the venue was a good size and handled the weather well. The estate was beautifully maintained and professionally decorated. Catering quality depends on the hosts' budget, but in our case it was good to great. Did not include photos with people for privacy reasons, but you can get a better idea of the venue from other photos online. A lovely place for a special occasion.”

“Best ECE /Kindergarten in New Zealand. Anchorage Park Kindergarten is the heart and soul of the community. The highly qualified teachers not only provide an amazing space and experience and love for my little ones, but genuinely care about our family as a whole. They catered to the special needs of my children, willing to adapt and try new things to help my children thrive. When new to the area they connected us with other families that have grown into lasting friendships for my children and us as parents. When my spouse went through a mental crisis I felt love and support for our family from them. They connected us to resources and support I couldn't have found on my own. They inquire about my older children, and remember their names despite years gone past since they were at kindy. They supported me in getting back into work. This wonderful team at Anchorage Park Kindergarten cultivates the space for my children to grow, and fosters a loving community so that I, as a parent, grow too.”

“Such a little gem of a place with bush walks and a beach that is beautiful. Lots of bird life and trees to shelter from the sun. Just a great place.”

“I really like this school. My child is well taken care of here. The receptionist, Michelle, is very friendly and always responds promptly to any questions or concerns. The teachers at the school are patient and loving towards the children. I can see my child's different growth through the Montessori learning method. The school is also very attentive, which makes me very satisfied.”

“This is my daughter’s second daycare, and she started here at 2 years old. To my surprise, she loves Honey Bees from the very first day. we don’t even need a transition period! While I was a worried mum calling many times on her first day, she was super happy, settled quickly, and has made so many friends. She absolutely adores her teachers, especially Juliana, Marisa, and Nicolette. At home, she even copies Juliana and explains things to me just like her teachers do. Every morning she is welcomed with cuddles, smiles, and praise, which makes her so excited to go in. Since starting, she has also begun talking a lot more, which is amazing to see. All the teachers (Karen, Alana) are wonderful, caring, and always quick to reply to any emails or questions. My daughter truly loves Honey Bees and her teachers.”

“1 month in and all the teachers try very hard. They are very patient and kind. I trust the teachers so much that it makes me feel good leaving my world in their hands. I have recommended to family members already. This is my first experience with daycares and honestly, they have set the bar so high! Thankful for everyone ❤”

“Our son has been attending ACG Remuera since turning 12 months old in May 2024, and he genuinely loves the place. He is always smiling and happy when we drop him off in the mornings. All the teachers are wonderful and caring.”

“The team and facilities at ABC Epsom are fantastic. Particularly the teachers in the under two's room are so caring and wonderful with the littlies. The atmosphere at the centre is great. Lovely big outdoor space for a relatively central centre. Highly recommend.”

“Awesome bouldering gym. Day pass was 23 NZD (about $14 USD only) and I was told I could come for free the next 7 days, too bad it was my last day in Auckland. Excellent vibes, felt super welcome by staff and the people climbing. Lots of fun problems, ratings are in colored ranges. Problems end on the last hold (like in European gyms), shirts off are fine for males (great because it was very hot and I swear a lot), chalk is fine, they said it was actually harder cleaning liquid chalk. They managed to do a lot with the space,. there's even a Yoga room on top, a children's area, and a small fitness box. They have 2 tension boards, campus boards and a lot of boulders. Would def come back here.”

“I am very happy with Early Smiles Childcare Centre . The staff is warm and caring especially mama Najlaa, and the environment feels like a second home for my son. The daily activities are both educational and fun, and I’ve noticed so much growth in his skills. I highly recommend Early Smiles to any parent looking for reliable and loving care.”

“We had a great transition period and my daughter has been attending Mt Wellies since the beginning of the year. We absolutely love this place and the sole reason comes down to the amazing kaimahi. If you want to send your child to a place where they are looked after and valued as you do at home then Mt Wellies is the place!”

“Best centre in the heart of Papakura and I highly recommend this kindy. First day visit to the centre and I already 100% thankful that I step foot in this centre. All staff are friendly and family orientated. They took extra mile and went beyond measure to meet the needs of the children even though all children has different needs. I love this centre is very clean and tidy and they accommodate the children to the best of their ability and making sure that all children are safe and happy. “My son had his birthday party here on Saturday and it was an absolute hit! The kids all had a blast & it was suitable for a range of abilities from beginner onwards. The staff were super friendly & the hire gear was great quality & the kids loved trying out the different scooters. The party was super chill to organise as a mum & I appreciated the table for the party food, very handy.”

“Great playground for the kids at a wonderful beach park. Plenty of grounds for picnics or gatherings. Clean bathrooms and changing rooms. The beach is excellent for walking or swimming.”

“My 9-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Drawing & Sketching class (Tue 3:45-5:15) with Maree. Learning to depict objects with pencil sketching added a technical dimension to her artistic skills. It was a great class for a 9-year-old who loves drawing, providing more advanced content rather than simplistic children's drawings. This class is highly recommended for kids who love drawing and want to boost their skills.”

“Come here quite regularly as the boys love it. Climbing slides, sandpit, flying fox as well as a good area to kick the ball around.”

“This is a family friendly farm. We used to take kids here for the family day. It’s also the start for Watercare coastal walkway. There is a barn here plus two car parks, a shelter, toilets, BBQ spots and camping grounds. There are farm animals such as sheep, lamb and horses.”

“Maddie was our game master. Team and I played their hardest room, Titanic. Very helpful with hints and her bubbly energy was infectious. Definitely coming back here again for more!!!”
