    Roberta Reserve is a hidden gem tucked away in Glendowie. It’s peaceful, open, and has such a calm vibe—perfect for families, dog walks, or just taking a moment to breathe. The reserve runs alongside the water with beautiful views, especially at sunrise or sunset. There’s a great little playground for kids, plenty of space to kick a ball around, and shady spots to relax under. It’s never too crowded, and the mix of native trees, birdlife, and open space makes it feel like a proper local retreat. Definitely one of those underrated neighbourhood spots you feel lucky to know about.

    Fantastic playground for younger kids - brought my two preschoolers here and they just loved it. Plenty to keep them occupied. Fully fenced however the gates don't auto-close so will need to keep an eye on them when someone leaves. Great for a picnic too however there is a lack of seating inside the fenced area, just seating and picnic table outside.

    The reserve has a great playground that children love. A couple of cafes within five minute walk, on street parking available, public toilet operating as well. Great walkway along the waterfront.
