Hereβs a polished Google review for Sherwood Reserve, written in a balanced and engaging tone: βββββ A Hidden Gem on the North Shore! Sherwood Reserve is one of those places that makes you feel like you've discovered a secret oasis in the middle of suburbia. Itβs got everything β a beautiful duck pond, shaded walking paths, a cool wooden playground for the kids, and plenty of grassy areas to picnic or kick a ball around. What I love most is how peaceful it is. Even on a busy day, thereβs enough space to find your own quiet corner. The native trees and little bridges give it a storybook vibe β perfect for strolls, drawing inspiration, or just letting the kids explore. Bonus: there's usually plenty of parking nearby, and itβs just a short walk to Browns Bay shops if you want to grab a coffee or bite after. Or get a quick haircut, grab fish n chips or anything from the dairy. Highly recommend for families, walkers, or anyone needing a quick nature break without leaving town.

Desperately needs a maintainence check. The wood chips ( which seriously should be changed to the material used on the beach playground ) wash down the hill/paths after heavy rain. Not safe for those who have difficulty walking. Also an excellent place for animals to defecate, The sun shields over the picnic tables have disappeared. There is a wooden seat on the path that is broken . It's been like that some time now. The bridge over the creek down from the playground needs serious maintainence after heavy rain . Branches, weeds. Bottles, plastics, etc. are washed down from goodness knows where. And have nowhere to go but on or by the bridge.

Nice place for dogs and kids. The playground is perfect for kids of different aged from babies to teens. The large area of the grass is maintained more than well for family picnic and dogs activities. People walking and running around are kind and friendly. Especially most of the dog owners are awesome.

Another successful Park Run - mini milestone at 5. Staffed by the amazing volunteers who make it all possible. Park is very wet after weeks of heavier than normal rain but still fun, sweaty and friendly.

This is a place where It's ideal for kids and families. You can picnic here, play the football, cricket or rugby on the playground, it has tennis courts as well. A steam goes by the park and you can find eels live in. Many trees give you shadow in summer. It has a playground for kids and a duck pond for family's fun. I like this place very much.

The updated paths and water way looks amazing at the moment with rocks, tree trunks, plants and a water feature in the stream. The new paths are a lot wider than the current ones which is great. Can't wait until it is 100% finished and open. The park is lovely and great for taking families with children to. The kids enjoyed the playground and seeing the eels in the stream. Close to shops, tennis court and sports fields.

This is great mid way stop on the walk to Browns bay. The improvements to the pond are looking good and the new over the water walkway is going to only improve a great family friendly park. Feed the ducks, have a picnic let the kids play in the playground. Just a great place to be.

A good place for recreation. There are wild ducks, a grove of beautiful trees, playgrounds for kids, and some shops where you can buy snacks and drinks. A spacious car park is also available to park your car in carefree. There are public toilets for your convenience too. It is indeed a nice spot to feel the delicate idyll of the nature while breathing a fresh air in relax. Kids are very excited and happy to feed the wild ducks too. I recommend not to feed bread or other food that might be harmful or not healthy to them. Corn and peas are better and the ducks really like them. The forest of trees are very beautiful in this season like autumn where they change the color of their leaves. The place can be one of the photographing sites at least for the amateurs. The streamlet which flows along the park adds the pleasing senses of the sceneries too. You can also watch a group of eels swimming or resting in the stream from the bridge near to the football field. There are two playgrounds nearby providing a lot of choices for the kids to play. The super market there is also handy for you in case you need something to buy. The stylists in the Sherwood hair studio there are very professional and I like to cut my hair there. The place currently is under some naturalization works and you might encounter some fences in some places for now. But you still can enjoy that amazing place a lot!
