Amazing pool for little ones. Life guard on duty and majority of the pool is covered with a sun shade. My baby loved the little fountains. Plenty of seating, and bathrooms too. Fully fenced for safety
Absolutely a great place Huge. The greylynn event was such a crowd puller on a gorgeous day. Loved it.
Good for a family picnic or similar activity but you will need to supply your own everything. Lots of fun for little kids on the pump track. There is also some adult suitable exercise equipment if you like that kind of thing.
Grey Lynn Park is perfect for a morning dog walk before work, with open spaces for pets to play. In summer, it's ideal for a picnic with friends or a partner, offering a relaxing, natural setting.
Great park! Love walking the dog here! Also for runners: four laps around the park (going out onto the street briefly past the basketball court) is about 5.5 km.
Awesome for kids unfortunately the playground could be improved
Fantastic park for all things parky.
Such an awesome park! There’s lots to entertain for the kids, flying fox, playground, a skate bike track area and plenty of field space for running around with a ball. Also a really cool fenced toddler pool that is open over the summer months. It’s is operated by the council and has a lifeguard stationed there whilst open. This is a great gem hidden in amongst Central Auckland.
It is a wonderful park, lovely fields and Richmond Bulldogs as a club does AMAZING things for the community!! The only downside is Dog Poo, there is a lot of it, in the middle of foot traffic. And it's not nice when there are a lot of kids running amongst the field in barefoot not knowing there are big lumps of Dog poo on the grass. Some parks now are displaying big council signs that say "NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE FIELD" Perhaps that might be an option for Grey Lynn Park :)
Best park in Auckland. Wish I was a kid or had a kid, the pump track looks awesome. Back in my day we didn’t have em, missed out big time. Boomers didn’t sort it out.
