We were there 19 Oct 25. We stayed on the parking near the shore, facing the body of water. We enjoyed walking on the beach as it is a low tide. The sun was shining brightly and beautifully. Dont forget your sunscreen on days like this. The snakes and ladder park was packed with happy kids and their families. Some people are walking their fur babies. Some are sitting on the grass doing picnic. Some are just strolling around, having fun under the sun. Such a wonderful place for family to bond and just relax. Note: there are toilets here. Concealed. Left side of the building.

βΈ» This playground features many snake-like slides, and my son had a great time weaving through the various tunnels and pipes. The seaside location offers beautiful views, and there’s plenty of sand to play in. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for kids to explore and enjoy!

Really lovely park. Located seaside and gd parking. Lots of picnic tables to eat lunch with a well used cycle way that obviously gets lots of family use. Our grandchn had fun playing snakes and ladders and getting them to physically spin the dice was very cool. Lots of laughter and running about. There are tables close to the park too and they are spread right across towards the carpark area.. There's also a BBQ u can use there and a great inclusion were a few workout pieces of equipment. So u can stop and jump on the bike and otha pieces and have a bit of a workout b4 or afta lunch or as part of ur daily walk. Awesome. There are a few bins but more wouldn't have hurt. So take an appropriate bag with you to take away your rubbish and help keep the seashore and area pristine. If the tides out. It's a fair way out to reach the moana. A prime launching area for a kayak when the tides in. I couldn't fig out where public toilets were but on the way hme, my dorta said it was by boat club building. So this is not obviously apparent if u haven't been there before... A beautiful place to spend a bit of time with the family. Not a super large grass area but lovely all the same.

This playground is so unique and tucked in Pakuranga area so well. The beach is a plus which makes both the kids and the adults enjoy together. Rotary walkway is a good walk any time of the way. Toilets are qell maintained and plenty of carparks.

Emerald!! The best park in the east coast area. Excellent atmosphere and scenic views. Plenty of parking space and a beautiful walkway. Kids can have a fun time on the beach. The snake and ladder theme is an excellent park concept. Must see place if you are after a peaceful weekend.

This is one of the most beautiful parks. It has a pathway for walking and jogging along the river. It has benches to sit and talk or picnic. Play area for kids. And all this with a beautiful view. I would love to visit this park many more times.

Great place to visit, prep for a picnic and chill out while the kids play, or play with them. Lovely park. Great for families with kids.

A real life Snakes and Ladders! Such a fun park for the kids. However I did see some parts of the structures are kind of old and worn out due to its popularity. The ground can be muddy if it's raining.

So much fun! There's large dice affixed to the starting point and also a couple halfway up. Stepping stones are numbered wood stumps. Slides as snakes and a beautiful view. There's also a few workout machines 100m or so away.
